  • If you build another layout, you should get the Kato Unitrack, its so much better and more versatile than the Bachmann EZ track

  • its n scale. I think bachmann ez track sucks too. However i am lucky i even have track because my parents hate it. My next update is in August on my birthday so some new stuff will be on it. I have already aquired 2 GP-38-2s by life like and plan on getting a B23-7 for my birthday. Thanx for the comments, Scincerely, Christian javier

  • Its a good start man. I remember my first layout and how much I have learned since then. If you need any help man, just shoot me a video. I'll send a video of my layout as a response to this one, so that you can see an example of what you can do.

  • You have some neat plans for the layout and a very interesting track plan. For scenery you should try using Woodland Scenic products for landscape. They have various material such as ballast, "powdered grass", landscapes and trees. easy to use and inexpensive...you can get them at any hobby shop or Micheal's Arts and Crafts Stores or A.C. Moore. You can also scratchbuild some neat hills and whatnot by just using filed down styrofoam blocks, paint, and the above mentioned products. Good luck!!

  • @CairnTerrier69 it salways a good idea to put down  a 2 inch layer of styrofoam down to carve and it reduces sound. i am going to carve most of my layout.
