  • Gah damn...the song is so super effin depressing.

Er,where can you get all the prismacolor markers? :)

  • WOW!!!!!!!!that is amazin

  • At the beginning (0:38) when you said to marker in fast so it looks smooth...do you mean so those "marker lines" don't show up?

  • da background iz really gud...

  • OH. MY. GOODNESS. THIS IS AMAZING!! YOU ARE FLIPPIN` AWSOME!! I would NEVER be able to that... BUT IT IS AWSOME!!!!!!

  • Im srsly happy to find this. All prisma marker colorings are of anime chars.

  • Amazing. And I love the music too. Can anyone tell me what the background music is?

  • randmm "i like towels" ?

  • you must go through a lot of markers bleeding them together like that.

  • towels are cool. especially sham wow

  • UH. WOW. This is amazing. Seriously. <3 The clouds look gorgeous!

  • Your amazing at the shading and drawing but try sticking with complimentary and secondary colors, the brown made it look bad. XD good job tho!

  • Reaction at the end: Oh Wow...

  • Omg! Please upload more videos like this! It was really good!

  • These markers are all I use besides the prisma color pencils. I love this brand! Check out my art on fb. type in the fb addy and then /artwest

  • the copic is the best

  • your artwork is great! check out mine at deviant art.search jansengarside

  • ...... Awesome... I always go over my lines to emphasize them, so they stand out more

  • Sorry for all of the questions, this is really new to me, but where did you obtain that opaque white marker? Does it come in a pack? How much does it cost?

  • Did you ink the creature before you started coloring?

  • How do you get the marker to not streak? I just a got a 12 pack of of markers and I have no idea how to use them!!! I tried coloring with them, but the lines were streaky and overlapping. How do I get one solid base with no visible pen strokes? I have read that they can be dipped in water for blending....is this true? Will it damage the marker? Please help me!!!!

  • @IrishMoffia97 I like to colour in circles to avoid that, but I work on stuff on a smaller scale. Plus it helps if you lay down one colour, really quickly, before it dries and sort of bleeds to together without much streaking.

  • Well done. I never used as much gray as you did here but I will try it seeing that the finished product turned out so well.

  • @KirBOOM okay, im not even kiddin, you need to get a deviantart acount. People will worship you and your mad skills lol

  • That looked amazing! I have some prismacolors but they always bleed and are too dark. You seem to have nice pastels and lighter colors. Did you have problems with bleeding and streaks too? If so how did you correct this problem? Also what was the white pen you used towards then end?

  • @prendergastc83 I use prisma markers and my never streak, I always color in small circles :) They bleed but a piece of paper underneath and you have no problem.

  • love it

  • 4 dislikes from people with no artistic talent or drive whatsoever

  • now thats true art keep at it you'll go places with that kind of art

  • whats the last marker u used? the one that "erased" the coloring to make it look like snow falling?

it's not the blender is it...?

  • That turned out great! now I just need some Prismacolor markers. xD

  • it looks very dr.seusy

  • Woooh very helpful! I can has link to finished drawing?

  • it did help great looks

  • woooooooooooooooooooooooooooo your awesome !!!!!!!!!!! go back ... go back to the sorce! soooooooooooooooouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuund

  • I wanna be able to do this with markers. I only just got a 12 pack of Prismacolors because they were half off. Youtube is great and I've already learned quite a bit from awesome people like you who post their work. How many colors do you have? I already know I'm gonna have to spend a lot more money T.T

  • are his ears falling off?! poor guy. D:

  • This is the first Prismacolor video I have watched and you did an awesome job!!! You have some great talent...

  • Impressive.

  • the lil creature looks like one of the things from cat in the hat

  • DO DUVETS POINT ARE USING FINE OR SQUARE?

  • @girlatny It says "a sad pathway" under the like bar so It may be an album or the song.

  • wow your so great at art <3

  • woooooooooooooooooow, tat picture is super awsome, i love it. very good colors and detail is super GREAT

  • Is the base color usually the lightest color you're using in an area? And then you just get darker from there?

  • Omg I love how you made the clooouuds ; - ;

  • @girlatny MusicShake-A Sad Path

    way

  • Great job!!

  • What kind of paper were you using?

  • i'm planing to buy theese

  • Wow! Awesome job! How old are you and how long have you been drawing for?

  • great use of the markers ive been debating wether to go with prismas or the cheaper alternative blick studio markers this vid jus tipped the scale twoard prismas

  • That was great help thanks for posting!

  • Holy crap I need prismacolor markers NOOOOW!!!!!!!

  • Its Number 1 from the cat and tha hat, but he went emo...... LOL x) nice drawing

  • @girlatny The artist is Musicshake and the song name is called "A sad pathway"

  • that's great! you're very talented. :) i'm trying to get into marker art...never knew it could be used so fluidly...if that makes sense....

  • That opaque white marker that you used at the end, was it a paint maker? If not what brand is it? This is a very great drawing! I am jealous, I really wish I had you prismacolor marker skills :P Good job!

  • i like towels too..

  • oh, so this is how neopets do their drawings!

  • D'aaww! So cute <3 And your shading skills are excellent. They remind me of how much more practice I need.

  • When you lay down the color with the markers is what you see what you get? Meaning whatever the color looks like wet will it look the same dry? And what is the best way to go about blending the colors? Just over laying? Or is there another way to do it?

  • wow the clouds are amazing

ive never seen anyone draw something like that with a marker

    good job

  • @girlatny I was gonna ask the same question! I like this audio track!

  • The background looks like mountains and another tree behind the little furry thing.. (x

looks really good! how long have you been drawing with prismacolor markers?

  • whats the name of this song >.<

  • I use prisma color 2 but I Gues I don't know how 2 use them 2 well I'll need 2 practice then that's tutorial really helped me glad u put it up!

  • pretty random i like towels

  • You can get the same result with their color pencils ;D

  • that looks like something from horton hears a who, but nice work!!

  • what type of marker/pen do you use for your basic black outline? im looking for some that dont smudge when colored over

  • Smartwater is awesome c:

  • I like your drawing and coloring style

  • OH MY GOD. That white marker. ... I need me one of those. I usually just finish off with a colored pencil to gradiant the lines and smooth them a bit, other wise I'm full out cell shading. xD A white one to highlight n'stuff. But a white marker would be awesome.. D: And I love the picture. I wish I could color with prismas that well. :x

  • @Chimera755 there not paint there alchahol based so no you cant "paint" dunnys with them. if you want to paint something you should get acrylics or acrylic paint pens

  • when i color big areas my markers (new) like dry up then come back to life like an hour later or w.e like less ink comes out...

  • How are you making the sky blend so well?

  • What king of paper are you using?

  • wow thats really great!

thats cool how you can do a lot of layering even though they're markers :P

  • Great work. :)

  • Very nice video

I do wish it was slower.. going through all the colors so we... well i could better grasp how to work with these markers

    lol

    But thank you!

You are really good, and your video was very inspirational!

    ^_^

  • You are a very talented person and i love your drawing it was very beautiful.

  • omg you're good

  • @girlatny think its Red Hot Chili Peppers - Snow o.o

  • @Selcricify

    defitently not

  • What kind of paper are you using here?

  • prismacolor is better from on the run 830-840?

  • Which brand is the opaque white marker?

  • great video, nice use of colors. thanks for helping me

  • Do you like using regular paper more than marker paper? I hear marker paper doesnt suck out as much ink and makes colors more vibrant

  • dude that is sic

  • I have to say your'e really good, and I liked your'e advise, it was more the layering.

  • I just wish I had more Pris marker colors :( there kinda expensive.

  • @CocoHotpix steal'em

  • @CocoHotpix

they are indeed but i got mine at amazon.com and they are half the rice of normal art stores (atleast in my area)

  • @CocoHotpix Yeah they are I just bought my first mini set of 24 cost like 45 bucks. And its even expensive to buy them separate. Can't find too many deals with any art supplies.

  • @girlatny Red Hot Chilli Peppers-Snow [:

  • @YounggWeezy haha no its not

  • that's really good!!!!

what's the white one you were using? it's a prismacolor like the other ones?

  • GAh i wish the UK had prismas :(

    -ChaoticD

  • @Dharkhaze17 try them on ebay, they usually ship internationally. if u dont find any, get copics =0)

  • I just got some Prisma Color markers for my birthday and this picture is AWESOME! I really really really hope I can get this good at using them :D

  • I might recommend that for highlights, white charcoal pencils tend to work the best for me!

  • aww wow, that's truly amazing ^^ I use ltrasets but they're not very good for blending... they bleed all over the paper as well if it's too thin so can get kinda annoying

  • You have drawing talent, but I'd love to see you with copics in your hand...not prismacolors that streak like a bitch!

  • That drawing was truly amazing. especially the shading ^0^

  • "I like towels" haha I completely understand just loving drawing something as random as towels. Like cowboy hats, scarfs, towels, flags, clothing wrinkles, banners. They're all fun to draw, at least for most of us, because we all remember realizing the fold techniques when we we younger artists. :) Love the color choice!

  • The tree and snowflakes could've used a bit of work. Nice clouds though.

  • @girlatny Rip it if you want it; google youtube to mp3 if you don't know how.

  • @girlatny I actually don't know, I'm sorry. :C Youtube just put it on the vid. XD; But thanks!

  • @KirBOOM I had no idea they could do that? :) Thanks for the tut, now to practice, practice, practice.

  • nice color mixing...

  • I loved it! I love to use prismacolor markers but I'm no where near that good. I'm going to try some of the type of things you did. Especially impressed with the tree.

  • wow that was awesome...

  • that was amazing :) The final product looks great.. and you really showed how prismas are supposed to be used!

  • You are an AMAZING artist!

But what exactly are Prismacolor Markers? How are they different from normal markers? That probably sounds like a super stupid question!

  • this is really helpful thanks for making this!

  • This was awsome!!!

  • where did you get the opaque white marker ??? plz reply

  • At first I'd don't know what you where drawing then you showed us the final peice and it was a Dr. Suess type character.

  • very helpful video thank you for posting it! this really helped me since im a beginer at markers

  • What lovely music....reminds me of cutting magic trees in Runescape. Sue me, lol.

  • Wich kind of paper is that?

  • looka sick but i think it would have looked better with less white opaque marker

  • Thats crazy good!!! 8D it reminds me of a who from who ville!!! XD im guessing it is snow???

HEHEH AWESOME! i a m getting into markers as well too ^_^ watching you has inspired me!! =DD

The final product is amazing :3 very good! i bet those markers cost you oddles and oddles of money! XD heheeh. Great work again!

  • Hurr hurr hurr, we so devious!

    :) excellent as always

  • wow, the end product was beautiful

  • lol.. lol.. lol.. when you went over with the white i thought you ruined it too!!!.. then you turned it right side up.. prettty good

  • wow. at first, when you took out the white opaque marker, i was like: you just ruined it. then, i saw the picture right side up, and WOW. you got some skills.
