In fact Opel Omega like most other ordinary cars have no chance against the Citroen CX with its advanced DIRAVI power steering and absolutely brilliant road hold especially in fast driving on curvy and bad roads with potholes etc. This is of course thanks to Citroens phenomenal gashydraulic system which affects both the suspension and the very fast and accurate steering. By the way, most people who dislikes Citroen CX, and XM have never been driving one..

La question n'est pas de savoir la quelle est la plus rapide, mais qu'elle voiture vous procure le plus de plaisir. J'ai eu l'occasion de conduire les deux, certes pas dans ces versions sportive, L'Opel est une voiture bien construite, c'est du sérieux, fait à l'allemande. Mais ceux qui n'ont jamais mis leur cul dans une Citroën ne peuvent pas comprendre le plaisir d'une belle voiture. Que ce soit la DS, la SM, la CX et même la GS, on est dans un autre monde. Que Citroën nous redonne du rêve.

J'ai adoré mon XM 2.5 turbo diesel 326,000 miles sans problem sauf l'entretien regulière et j'ai du la laissé en Angleterre quand je me suis demenagé en Suisse. :-(

I got CX GTI Turbo (older model without kat) I did some match with other cars (BX GTI, C5 3.0, XM) and I won :) Its quite impressive car. But of course, its a bit of fine arts and engineering history.

du hast leider einfach keine Ahnung. Mach dich mal schlau in Sachen Kraftübertragung und Getriebübersetzung bei den Autos. Btw war der CX ein Fahrzeugkonzept, der Opel einfach die übliche Kiste mit Motor und Rädern dran. Und teurer war er auch nicht.

Opel Lotus Omega have 377 horse power as stock (some people manage to tune it over 500 horse power).

Lotus Omega was only half Opel, it used gearbox from Corvete and some other parts as well.

It is Opel's, Lotus was just tuner (Lotus tunned Opel's and Vauxhall's cars).

They used all parts from Opel except gearbox (from Holdens Corvette, but and Opel, Holden and Lotus were owned by General Motors).

Engine is Opel's, just it was tunned from 3000ccm to 3600ccm and putted 2 turbos on it.

The Omega B1 MV6 is an 3.0 V6 (X30XE) with 211 B/hp, the 3.2 V6 (Y32SE) was only available in the Omega B2. The Omega is also an automatic (look at my video's)the Citroën is an Manuel gearbox ?
