This version sounds like how it would have sounded had Keith Moon had played it. This is by far the best version and even better the the original, IMHO.
Big Black Johnnie Twinkles is indeed on bass. This was Roger's touring band after he did the Carnegie Hall show in the early 90s, which featured Zak, Simon and Rabbit. Roger insisted on using "his" band on the Quadraphenia tour in 96, which is why Zak plays with the Who now. This band is a ton better than the '89 Who, even if Pete was nowhere to be found.
has anyone else seen the isle of white dvd? the whole thing is basically just close ups of townshends face practically no ox screen time whatsoever! still kicks ass though good stuff
Is that Zak or Simon ?

One of the last times Entwistle used the Warwick/Modulus Buzzards. After this it was all Status Graphite

Looks like Pete Townsend is there, but I don't see Entwhistle and the bass is hard to hear.

Nice. The hair metal guitar solo was a bit much, but loved it nonetheless.

Uh ... is that E.V.H. going incognito? (which would explain why that side of the stage doesn't get lit)

Ripping version! Dare one say it surpasses the Face Dances original?

Dare one agree? Too bad the sound is a bit corny, but this is really a good version...more fast-paced than the original
