This song brings back alot of memories, I was only 10 at the time and we were living in florida while my dad was in bible school. Alot of my christian life was based on the experiences of the time and yes Keith Greens ministery. I hope that people will still find God through Keith.
I love listening to and praising God through Keith Green's music. My parents played it all the time while we were growing up (20 yrs ago lol). It still has the same impact and gives me the same joy to sing along.
@zambianvillager me too. i used to listen to keith when he first came out, i was in diapers. it just so happens i only ever fellowship with "senior citizens" (lol) and they are always amazed when i sing right along with all the old songs. thank you jesus keith is still available, a lot of the old stuff is hard to find
I miss Keith Green's music! He was excited for the Lord as I am today! I was saved on April 3, 1977 during the "Jesus Freak" movement. Guess what! I am still in that movement to this day! Jesus is coming soon, and I am ready to go!

Keith Green made a huge impact on my life.....he and his two beautiful children died in a plane crash when my husband and I were still dating........so sad that this world lost such a godly man........thank you Keith for pointing us to God!!!

God is a God who gives freedom and doesn'T put his children under pressure, but loves them as they are and is longing for a personal relationship with them, but he will never force them to do so. It's our free choice. Religion is something that men came up with. This word doesn't evan appear one time in the bible and all religion teaches is that there are good people and bad people.
@johnthemutineer PART 2:Jesus teaches that there are repentend people and unrepentend people, but the salvation and righteousness comes only through his death on the cross. And whoever will believe that, will spend his eternity with God and THATS a promise. So life is a time where we don't try to decide if we want to be in eternity but HOW we wanna spend it....with God or without him. Does that answer the question? :D

@ndzoko And reading the Bible literally is not the same as interpreting it. It's called biblical criticism and it should be applied to every part of the Bible. For example, are we to assume that the Genesis book is a scientific account of creation? Certainly not (though I concede some ignorant people think so). In much the same way, it must be understood who wrote it, who it was written to, what the context of the story is, and what the overall message is. Take Hosea for example.

The point of the story is completely different than the actual substance. This song brings back alot of memories, I was only 10 at the time and we were living in florida while my dad was in bible school. Alot of my christian life was based on the experiences of the time and yes Keith Greens ministery. I hope that people will still find God through Keith.

I miss Keith Green's music! He was excited for the Lord as I am today! I was saved on April 3, 1977 during the "Jesus Freak" movement. Guess what! I am still in that movement to this day! Jesus is coming soon, and I am ready to go!

I sure understand what you mean mjm, we can't just snap our fingers and poof get saved. the Bible says when we seek, read the Bible and pray to Him, He will reveal Himself to you. The tough circumstances I went through made me desparate enough to seek Him with all my heart and everything I knew in theory from being in church all my life, finally became reality. I get the truth From God and His word. I seek His interpretation not my own. Nor do i get my theology from any other or any website. Too many are teaching their own understanding not from God. They look at the Bible like they did their high school year book. They only look for their photo, and read into to it for what they want it to say.

what I was saying is that he(keith) belonged to God as Rom. 14 8 "whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord" and that Gods will is sovereign and yeah He does call people to heaven and lets them die.
in Luke 12:20 God not only allowed a man to die He demanded his death.

God is a God who gives freedom and doesn'T put his children under pressure, but loves them as they are and is longing for a personal relationship with them, but he will never force them to do so. It's our free choice. Religion is something that men came up with. This word doesn't evan appear one time in the bible and all religion teaches is that there are good people and bad people.

And whoever will believe that, will spend his eternity with God and THATS a promise. So life is a time where we don't try to decide if we want to be in eternity but HOW we wanna spend it....with God or without him. Does that answer the question? :D

Thankfully, God was on my case and didn't give up even when I openly rejected him - and I finally gave my heart and life to Jesus. Far better than all the politics, all the parties, all the clever philosopical arguments I'd tried before - Jesus is real, He is God and He is good. No regrets whatsoever!!!

He says that arcane arts are not good. He says that we should honor thy mother and thy father. Kill them? @ndzoko And reading the Bible literally is not the same as interpreting it. It's called biblical criticism and it should be applied to every part of the Bible. For example, are we to assume that the Genesis book is a scientific account of creation? Certainly not (though I concede some ignorant people think so). In much the same way, it must be understood who wrote it, who it was written to, what the context of the story is, and what the overall message is. Take Hosea for example.

The point of the story is completely different than the actual substance.
