@tgrwp42j12 actually Freddy can die. if you noticed in the first Nightmare on Elm Street movie, Nancy Thompson pulled Freddy out of her dream and he was just as mortal as she was. That's why he chooses to kill them in their dreams instead of the real world.

Actually you can. That cult from 4-6 knows how, they'd just rather reason with him. Jason, however, he definitley can not die anymore. But if you mean you as in the average person right on the street, you may right about not being able to kill him. Freddy, he can only die if there's no one afraid of him and he can't make it back to Hell (if no one's afraid he can't inhabit the dreamscape or whatever it's called)

I agree with Riverman7 Michael is the one. Not necessarily the best against Jason power wise although he has super strength aswell, but I tell you... there was nothing more brutal or chilling than the first Halloween in my opinion. You can hear him growling/breathing through that mask. One scary movie!!
