WOW! How Much and where can I get one? This is what I been looking for all my life? I've seen the other Robotic shark but this one beats it hands down cuss of the rubber skin over the body, makes it look real. :)

to those asking... i got mine 2 days ago from Tesco here in the UK. the box was labeled HOW COOL IS THAT?!

they have a few... rc buggy, submarine, duck and shark. £10 for this shark! it's excellent!

Is yours still working? The buoyancy motor seized up on mine. I stripped the shark to find the motor is sealed in it's own container with absolutely no seal used on the motor shaft - This means the motor chamber floods and obviously motor rusts up :( Seems a shame as general build quality is excellent!

Was such a fun toy but with very short (IMO intentional) lifespan.

hey thanks for the picture! really helped a lot. do you think it (the rubber body) can be melted back together again after opening it?

reason is i've been thinking of upgrading this to a proper RC... using proper rc servos

Yes it was my intention to get the thing back together again.

I think careful selection of some sort of rubber glue will ensure a water tight seal again. Just be careful round the thruster area as I removed too much glue or whatever it was - use a sharp blade to open.

Not sure if enough space for micro servos tbh also how would they improve performance?

by using proportional servos, hopefully the movement will be better - ie the tail can swing slow for cruising or fast for all out speed....

shame i only have one. i'm scared of opening mine up and not being able to put it back together. i should have bought another one but TESCO (where i got mine from) ran out quickly last year.

AH ok. Yeah I would leave it be until it packs up! If all goes well your shark will look uglier than it did ;)

New micro rx, PWM and better batteries might make a difference to performance I would try that before servos.

BTW Have you tried alternating left right buttons quickly, instead of pressing forward? I found the shark actually travels forward quicker this way!
