This is example how canadian democracy works. People opose, people rally. Majority of BCers don't want HST, but BC gov will do what he wants. Democracy is just a word. Was created anyway in country where democrats have bunch of slaves.

I didn't vote for Campbell because I knew he would do something stupid like this. He is a liar and a pea-brain. 95% of BC civs are against the HST and he just ignores everyone because he thinks of his selfishness. If he runs for premier next election, he's going to get less votes than the Green party! I can't wait until the next election to get rid of this money grubber. So more of our money will somehow make it to Quebec. I used to live in Montreal and Quebec gets so much more Govt funding than we do here. I think it's bullshit, BC is prospering and eastern Canada is suffering and so we have to help them out.

SGT all the people in BC disagree on the tax. Currently there is only two province that issues HST. BC and Ontario. But Ontario is supported by HST and people dont complain because they dont have olympics and dont owe money and the wage rate is better there.

Gordon Campbell is just a money sucker. Thats all he is a pussy. But it doesnt matter how much people complain, he over rules the jurisdiction.
