@Mcheetah - Totally cool with your comment, but I'd argue that Pam makes a great vampire for being so aloof and uninterested with anything human related cause she's over the whole mortal thing. She's dry humored and sarcastic and makes the perfect Eric sidekick, who also likes to portray himself as above humanity. You'll probably be pissed to hear that she just got signed on as full-time cast member because of her popularity, and'll get more screen time this season than the last 2. Sorry lol.

I don't loathe Pam, but there are so many more interesting characters than her. Sookie and Bill are kinda lame, in my opinion. Bill is boring. And Sookie doesn't do nearly enough to be as strong as she says she is and is too dependent on him Would some damn self-defense classes hurt her?

Jason & Sam are okay. I dont care about Eric. Its Tara and Lafayette that make me watch. And even Jessica, even though she annoys the sh*t outta me! She's at least somebody who is interesting.

@Mcheetah My favs are Lafayette, Jessica, Pam, Andy, and Terry. Eric, Bill, and Sookie are okay, but they're not the highlight of the show to me. Jason's chronic dumbassery drives me up a wall, Tara's chronic drama's getting stale, Sam's likeable but a bit boring, and I wish Bill would've taken Lorena's head all the way off cause she's an annoying pain in the ass. However, besides her, there are no characters that I truly hate, and I'm excited to see where they'll take Alcide & Franklin.

Lamike: To be honest - Alan Ball does things differently from the books. He kept Lafayette even though he died in the first book, created Jessica who doesn't even exist in the books, and Godric is NOT Eric's maker. I'm guessing Pam is safe - she is considered one of the best characters in the book "saga", and very popular in polls for the show. Up until book 9 - she does not die. I haven't read 10 yet though. I hope it won't happen - she's a seriously awesome character!
