Is that with the cat still on? Cuz I have a 2001 dodge ram with dual exhaust....manifold, to cat, to out the back! NO MUFFLER! Sounds mean like that! Ive been debating on buyin a camino. But not sure what route I should go as far as exhaust! But that straight pipe on yours sounds sweet!
i have an 84 chevy truck with a 305 (well it used to, now it's got a well built 427), and when you fired that thing up it sounded identical to my tuck
sounds just like my 83 and i did the same thing it was 25* out and i had to but a new muffler on so i could take it to school got old one off and had fun but also looks and sounds a bit like u need a new carb or carb seals (i just put a holly on the stock 305 EB i hear is alittle better and u wont need the spacer)
It's just a plain 85 305, only mods are for looks, I'm trying not to spend too much money on the 305 because I'm building up a 383 that will either end up in the Camino or in my Mazda pickup, I like the idea of a 383 B3000 better though >: ]

@GodschildJCE People tell me that all the time too. Because the Idle has to be set so high on my 305 to stay running it sounds mean.
