I'd have to agree with the analyst on this one. Brian Burke is getting paid to run a hockey team, and should be doing his job on a day where free agent signings begin. He could have visited the troops the following week, but signing a player that many teams are looking to sign has a limited window. This trip could have been (notice the 'could', meaning speculation) the reason why Brad Richards signed with the Rangers rather then the Leafs.
