  • I love this, and TJ is a great actor

  • 3 and a half weeks big wraps on the back of my head and a broken left foot. all from a driver who's careless attitude neraly destroyed my life and my family. my wife was devastaded and my little girl well u can imagine.

  • omg this vid is great,... i dont know if this is ficticious or u made it from someones or even personal knowledge... but whe i woke up from my coma i couldnt speak properly and i was so afraid. i didnt know if i was alive or dead! this vid has touched me,.

  • @gusto1978 Hi there. The idea and execution are my own. Never personally been in a coma, but I'm glad to hear you were touched by it :) So how long did it take for you to 'return'?

  • The camera you used, is it digital?

  • @KPremiere Yep. It's a Sony HC1e. That's a prosumer Mini DV.

  • @ribenawrath okay, sorry about the questions, I am just really confused...what is DV?

Like, can u just connect it to your computer through usb and start editing? or does it need tapes??

  • @KPremiere DV is Digital Video. It uses Mini DV tapes, which are digital tapes. They give you the best quality footage from any camera you use them on. Depends entirely on the quality of your cam too though. You can't use USB, you have to import it using FireWire. You have to import the footage from your camera to your computer. Then you can edit no problem. Importing is called 'capturing'. The tapes are about £3 for three, but you can reuse them many times.

  • @ribenawrath okay thank you! and one more question, what is firewire?

  • @KPremiere FireWire is the cable used to transfer video. It's like a really fast USB. Sony call it iLink, but the technical name is IEEE 1394. FireWire is what Apple called it, and it kinda stuck. Also, I meant £8 for tapes, not £3 ;) Be sure to show me what you make, interested now.

  • @ribenawrath hahaha definitely! And Thank you so much!

  • dude no doubt the movie was cool, nice graphics and all, sound effects and everything but i was bored the whole video, i expected some story/action but nothing, it sucks

  • A short film??

    it was 10 min.

    but it was pretty good

Check out my vids plss my vids are with after effects cuted

^^ sorry for my bad english

  • Thank You.

  • Epic *-* I have a question its realy important for me so please wright back ! I want to buy me this camcorder but I dont like MiniDV...so how long does 1 Tape record? And can you overplay it ?? Thx!

  • @GameplaySource One tape is 60mins. Mini DV will give you the best possible quality footage from a consumer camera. It's very easy to put a new tape in when it runs out. I think you should be more concerned with the battery running out before the tape. Overplay? I assume your mean LongPlay? You can, but it isn't recommended. Reduces image quality somewhat.

  • @ribenawrath with ''overplay'' I mean when the tape is full...can you use the tape again? Or do you have to buy a new one? cause that would suck ! And another question. How do you get the Video on you Computer? Sry if you think im dum but I never had a MiniDV camcorder ! so ^^

  • @GameplaySource Oh in that case yeah. You can use tapes many times, you just rewind and press record again. They wear out eventually though. You use a FireWire cable to import. Most computers have one nowadays. It does mean you import in real time though. You have 60mins of footage and it'll take 60mins to import.

  • in the beggining i thought darth vader was coming up cuz of the sound effects xP

  • What is the STORY?????

  • This is an amazing short film! All the effects came out great, the acting, and the cinematography!

  • this is amazing

  • Wow, an extremely good short film, the camera shots were layed out great, and the editing and Acting was Superb!

The actor who played the boy was by the far the best out of the all, you could see the tention, and weekness build up inside of him!

    Awesome work!

    -Matt

  • Nicely done for a budget that small, and great shots ;)
