@Synerfication Almost everytime artists do that and you dont hear the audience sing its because the editors of the video make to where you only hear the artist. Its hard to hear any sounds in the mic that arent right on it. Otherwise if you heard the audience the entire time you would complain about not hearing BoA's voice.

So I wouldnt blame the audeince's lack of participation. Blame the editors. BoA is extremely popular at anation, so don't worry, she is definetly loved by them. :)

@yayyyzzz I don't think that she 'chose' the Japanese market over the Korean one... it seemed more like she was doing better in the Jap market in comparison, especially in the first few years of her debut. She was much more 'appreciated' in Japan, whereas Koreans weren't 'as supportive' of her young debut... Not to mention the Jap market is much larger than the Korean one.
