if children are involved wait but involve the children so they know the person, but my husband & i just celebrated our 6th anniversary of marriage after dating only 6 months. God blessed us with a good marriage at an early age (18/19). Its always good to be careful and sure before jumping in. Living together first won't really help, always the honeymoon period, the calm before the storm to deal with.

My comment : My sediments exactly, here in America usually you would move in with a person first before marriage that way you can get a chance to see the real them and not marry some one you hardly know. I think thats one of the reasons America's divorce rate is so high because people just jump in and marry before they even get to know the person enough. Date a few years then marry

@BiracialGirl1977 I would have to disagree. I married my husband after 4 months of meeting him and now years later were still going strong,but i would say we do things differently from most. We treat each other respectfully and base our life and marriage on bible principals which makes our marriage flourish. There would be alot less divorces going on if people would do the same!!!!
