  • guys the moose got out why it was there is that it heard u from a mile a way and a response for moose when it feel in danger it goes in the water

  • Nice try thinking of the moose ,it`s probably warmer done there running water is just above freezing stress and determination will get it out , I wittnessed a bull jump a 12 ft chainlink fence in Jasper national Park thats alot of meat to be flying seen elk go over the same fence it probably got out .

  • It is almost as if the Moose expects and is asking for help, with the way it tilted its neck and raised its head toward the two men?

    Thanks for uploading this video!

    Take care,

    mrbluenun

  • 5 minutes of a static moose and the momento he moves the camera man fleds!

  • Why didn't you dig out the snow ? to a slow decline to the water. i'm sure it was possible with a lot of work tho. but i bet if you did that and left he would find it and walk or climb out through it.

  • AAAWWWWW POOR THING!!!!!!!!!!!

  • isn't the water warmer than the air? otherwise it wood be frozen, right?

  • @btq28 That's probably why the moose was hanging out there.

  • I'm sure the moose was fine. They're at home in the water (they eat water plants) and they only live in enviroments that have harsh winters, so they're well adapted to the conditions. A little ankle deep cold water is not going to kill an animal with that kind of body mass and hide, though I'm sure it wasn't happy.

  • @Snipe4261 if the moose did not get out of that it would die. it was frozen. moose have to keep moving in the cold in order to keep there temp up enough that he would not freeze to death over like that basically. he need food and to keep moving and a place to sleep like Pine tree groves or something warmer.

  • i always heard Moose are easily agitated nd extremely territorial but damn that was insane

  • Now That's When You Can Say ''Freezing My Balls Off''

  • Not something I would attempt...

These people are preditors in that moose's eyes; and it is only natural that this animal would attack.

Perhaps cutting a trail (couple of hours works) might have been the best option... I am not sure...

Who knows if this animal would have survived the winter..

    Bern

  • thats was an amazing effort im so sorry it didnt work out

  • LOLOL so we think thats where he went in "EH?"

    1:33

  • the moose tried to stomp on the guy because the thing probably thought u were trying to get down in there with it and try to kill it, thats probably what the moose was thinking, not u trying to save its life. either way great job and glad the moose survived.

  • Looks like nice country up there. I sure the moose got out on the path you made after you left. Good video!

  • So did Moose ever get out?

  • o my god. that is sad

  • So much for the great moosecapade...

  • Omg, shut up.

  • what school do you learn to rescue a moose?

  • beautiful scenery

  • i appreciate that they tried to help him but he was licking his chops and laying his ears back-sure sign of agitation-lucky they didnt get hurt-moose can be dangerous but usually do so signs before they charge

  • At 2:10 he looks up and thinks .. I know this will end up on YouTube.

  • I would of jus shot'em and had'em for dinner.. He's bound to end up on someones plate sooner or later.

  • actually the moose didn't die, read the more info part.

  • ROFL at the end the dude was like bleh fuck him :D

  • nature takes care of its own... its unfortunate you had to come across this..i'm sure he got out

  • whats on his face..snow;) frozen snow

  • Nice try guys, hope you weren't too sore the following day. sadly, animals don't know when we're trying to help. You get a five star from me for trying.

  • he looked a little chilley

  • Dude, get the moose to jump into the bank. Scarew it. THe moose is probably so disoriented that it wouldn't attack u anyways. CALL A GAME WARDEN IMMEDIATELY!!! tell them u need a helicopter that's able to pick up a big moose. Explain the situation and in a sense. Get in there in the water nad try to to warm the animal up. I would.

  • did you not see the moose lunge at him?!? you get right in there and try to warm him up, he'll warm himself up trying to stomp your dumb ass!

  • an easier way to help the dumb animal is to get a high powered rifle and place the cross hairs right between it's eyes

  • This is so sad, and many animals lose their lives due to these circumstances. If I was there, I would of called in some sort of rescue for this beautiful creature. Then set up some sort of food for it. But I cant.Soooo sad.Heart breaking.

  • i woulda jumped in and request a helicopter

  • ya for only $3000 an hour

  • Great video. Too bad the results weren't a little better.

  • The moose died.

We found her (his?) body later mostly buried in the snow. At the time we found her it wasn't clear how she had died; we thought maybe a broken leg. From the level we found her at, though, compared to the ice we were walking on, it seems like she might have managed to climb out a little before she died. Maybe she was able to balance along the side for a while before succumbing to hypothermia.

  • you guys are very brave!

You are real animal lovers! =)

  • great video good job!!!!!

    poor moose look so bad

    you guys are very brave
