I prefer the arrangement of this version over the original, but it's as if Laura doesn't really mean the words she's singing. This is where Marie excells. Pity, I really like other performances of Laura's.

Well, this is a tough choice, I like them both. I'd give Laura's version a slight preference, seems like it flows a little better, plus I really like that mysterious part from 3:33 to 3:52. I've listened to it many times and can't make out all the words, but it's really neat sounding, esp. with headphones I REALLY like Roxette as well. Buddy of mine gave me a couple of their albums not long ago, listen to them alot.

Of course, I'm a HUGE LB fan, so may be a bit prejudiced.

As a Roxette fan i actually like this version.

This was never a single for Roxette and wasnt even an album track. It was a B-Side and eventually released as part of a Rarities compilation.

Considering it was never a single it is an excellent example of how good Roxette songs are.

There are many covers. This being one of the best.

I got into this same arguement about Alphaville, but Laura would blow them right off the stage , and all the way to Alpha Centauri!
