1st played Dota 5 years ago, it was so simple yet the bomb. As soon as HoN came out I played it because the style's just like Dota, only better graphics which is great. After awhile I noticed LoL. Played it more than once but got bored and went back to HoN. And now that Dota caught up with its sequel. Its time to go back
HON maps are too small. Gameplay seemed too much like deathmatch.
League of Legends was really team reliant which is frustrating when having to deal with random teammates but winning felt more rewarding. Games often dragged on however with players stuck in their base.
Dota(I didn't play dota2) was good, it was the original that just got better and better. The game is more about self sufficiency, denying ganking and dueling than Lol's focus on coordination as a group.

And yes, lol have much players, its 100% free, but 100%free = much much fucking brainlees ppl.

Yes, for the vast majority of my leveling, you got nothing but ragers and Brazilians, and I couldn't (for the life of me) decide which was worse. But if you just ignore the bad players, friend the good ones, and get your normal ELO up, you'll get the better players. Mostly because the bad ones will just, eventually, be perma banned.
@he110me LoL has a wider player base, but is more casual. But in most cases you have to spend at least $30 on the game to get a few heroes you like. HoN isn't as big anymore since it wasn't F2P till later on. It's more competitive because you have to deal with PSR which tells you how good you are at the game. Any game you play you'll get people ragging on another similar game. BF3 vs MW3 would be another example.
@WildRam Honestly, I've only bought one champion with RP (Nocturne) and I own half the champions. You CAN get the champions you need/want with just IP, but you have to be "smart" about who you buy and take advantage of the champions who are more commonly free. (For instance, you're going to almost always have a support, which is a very small "class" on LoL. Same with tank.) The only real problem with LoL is the smurf accounts, which are normaly weeded out by Lv 6, but ruin games for newbies.

@he110me i've never played LoL but what i heard when people compare both games is that HoN depends a lot more on teamplay so that might be the reason why people rage so much in HoN if their team does poorly it's pretty much over and they have to play sometimes 30-40mins of a lossing game so i guess it gets frustrating

@DaVuCrew Stupid, stupid comment, you cannot measure a game's ''Difficulty'' when its in a multiplayer 5v5 mode, there are public games, ranked games, Matchmaking (although not in ol' DotA) 1v1 games and all sorts of mods that you might try out, like midwars etc.
You cant measure random teams in difficulty, can you? if there were only crap playing one of these games then you could ''skill measure'' it, but now it isnt like that, is it?
First of all Hon and LoL both came from Dota. Hon Copied LoL in making it free. League of Legends is way better, and many more people think so too since LoL has 30 million registered users, and Hon only has around 1 mill. But i really like League of Legends and i will buy Dota 2 and play that aswell. Hon is just so bad.
@deathkiller348 You don't need a beta key. Ask a friend who trusts you with his steam info to let you download it through his account, then you can just start up the game on yours. The beta key they sent out is just a link to download the game you dont actually need one. Thumbs up so people can see this, needs more community lmao.

In my opinion, HoN is the best MOBA game out there yet .. Dota 2 is great but the controls are too unresponsive on the source engine. But its still in beta so I hope it catches up at its release!

I've played all 3 competitively. I'd say that HoN is the hardest of them all, followed by DoTA then LoL. To me, LoL is just a fun, easy version of MOBA games.
League of Legends and Heroes of Neveranth is a cheap copy of Dota ( Defend of the Ancients )
Dota is a production of Blizzard™ , and from version 5.00 , Icefrog took the map and started making it better since it became as it is now , version 6.79 or whatever. Dota 2 will be epic.

@MrDeadbear96 u put it in order of skill to play, DoTA 2 sucks and requires no skill, same with HoN. LoL takes a while to get used to and is a better version of DoTA but the original takes the trophy with 100% unique experience compared to the others.

Ive played dota, dota 2, and league of legends. All fantastic games. havent played newewrth yet tho. I primarily play league of legends tho as i dont see anything wrong with it. as for the balancing issues, it doesnt seem to be an issue to me. there is a counter to everything and if you feel that a certain champ is op then you can simply ban that champion before the match even starts.

@DrMadMime have you even played it? the texture options aren't even in yet or lighting, valves idea was to make the graphics style more cosomizable so if you like darker more realistic graphics you can set the textures and lighting to suit this view

@MrSmisao HoN community is like the Modern warfare community. All retards and little kids. But it's a wicked hardcore game. It took me a while for people to compliment me but that's why I stuck to low bracket to get good at practice games then go out. Being a legendary account I still go to practice before I go and play in the real games. I'm sticking to Dota 2 for now though. The people you report "not for being idiots but actual trolls and ruining game" You can report and they get banned.

In my opinion, HoN is the best MOBA game out there yet .. Dota 2 is great but the controls are too unresponsive on the source engine. But its still in beta so I hope it catches up at its release!

I've played all 3 competitively. I'd say that HoN is the hardest of them all, followed by DoTA then LoL. To me, LoL is just a fun, easy version of MOBA games.

Dota is a production of Blizzard™ , and from version 5.00 , Icefrog took the map and started making it better since it became as it is now , version 6.79 or whatever. Dota 2 will be epic.

@MrDeadbear96 u put it in order of skill to play, DoTA 2 sucks and requires no skill, same with HoN. LoL takes a while to get used to and is a better version of DoTA but the original takes the trophy with 100% unique experience compared to the others.

Ive played dota, dota 2, and league of legends. All fantastic games. havent played newewrth yet tho. I primarily play league of legends tho as i dont see anything wrong with it. as for the balancing issues, it doesnt seem to be an issue to me. there is a counter to everything and if you feel that a certain champ is op then you can simply ban that champion before the match even starts.

@DrMadMime have you even played it? the texture options aren't even in yet or lighting, valves idea was to make the graphics style more cosomizable so if you like darker more realistic graphics you can set the textures and lighting to suit this view

DotA is the FIRST one and everytime I played Warcraft I HATED IT ... I dunno why, I played 3-4 Games I wasnt that bad but I reallly doesnt like it cause the Server got spammed. Then after looong years I found lol and I love LoL. Dunno what I think about DotA2 if it have the Spirit I maybe like it. Blizzard didnt always listen to community when balancing Starcraft and now its one of the best balanced games, which is still played competitively although its more than 13 years old.
