Omg. I hate when people view Detroit as such a crime ridden place. One time a guy from the army came to recruit. One kid asked, "do you get scared you're gonna get shot?" And the guy replied, "you live by detroit, I'd be more scared of getting shot here than in the army." That just ticks me off. And then one time, this guy went down to texas or something, and this woman was like "where are you from" and the guy replied "detroit" and she was like "omg are you okay, i just saw 8 mile"
