  • Hahahaha lol

  • xD HAH LOL.

    Comical once again xD.

5th meets 10th xD LMAO xD.

  • @GoddessOfWhim2003 None, but it was all David Tennant to Doctor Five.

  • Halfway through I realize that David Tennant is technically playing the more experienced one.

  • soon to be, if not now, in laws. odd.

  • Loved the beard joke.

  • @curshvid

She was a beard in the sense that he was an alien trying to appear human, not a homosexual trying to appear straight.

  • David Tennant, 10th Doctor, my fav. Didnt even know about this till just now. lol.

  • I thought I saw all the Tennant episodes, but new ones keep popping up out of the woodwork! D:

  • its a paradox with a pair of doc's

  • @sarge301

    GREAT SCOTT!

  • @sarge301 I prefer a different kind of paradox >:3

  • Peter Davison is David Tennant's father-in-law in real life.

  • @theoriginal72 That is awesome. I totally didn't know that.

  • where does the doctor who gets upgrades for his TARDIS

  • I know this is really 2008, but "Yo dawg, I heard you like Doctor Who so I put Doctor Who in your Doctor Who so you could watch Doctor Who while you're watcing Doctor Who."

  • @Kairamek I think if you said "so you could watch the Doctor while you watch the Doctor"" the joke would be better.

  • "two minute to Belgium!"

  • @BlankJebus

i say that when i'm about to be late or on my way to something.

  • Nice seeing a doctor crossover, i'm kinda hoping they do a special with 9,10, and 11 like the old days when they did 1-5.

  • I am so happy for David Tennant. You could tell he was so happy getting to meet "his Doctor." <3

  • David Tennant is the luckiest fanboy in the world.

  • I thought i loved him for Blink but this just takes the cake

  • This is the David Tennant I liked. I liked it best when he was a happy adventurer not depressed.

  • MOFFATT.

  • I hope they do something like this with Colin Baker. I really think he needs a redemption.

  • 3:01- classic fifth doctor theme

  • @XxPumpkinSpicexX Thats my dream to. If the doctor somehow gets a new life cycle I wana be 16th. Or atleast a companion.

  • That last speech to him wasn't just 10. It was David Tennant.

I loved that last bit, It was so special.

  • 6:52-I am strongly convinced that was David Tennet speaking to Peter Davison and not the 10th Doctor to the 5th

  • Peter Davidson is going to be on Law and Order UK as Director of Crown Prosecutions Henry Sharpe........................will he have his brainy specs with him?

  • @hpa2005 Well, at least he'll have a companion running around. She wasn't one of his, but she was the Doctor's...

  • @orangeapples true, by the way, I would find it funny if David Tennet guest stared and when his and Peter's characters met, one of them says: "Have we met before?"

  • @XxPumpkinSpicexX With "Rubbish beard" he means the old masters incarnation had a beard.

  • @XxPumpkinSpicexX You tell the world who you are as a person every time you make an obsessed fangirl post here.

  • @XxPumpkinSpicexX The truth is always effective.

  • @XxPumpkinSpicexX You never will, you creepy fangirl freak.

  • What's that theme from 6:47 to 7:12? I can't think of the name and its driving me nuts.

  • Well you know what Tennent? You were MY doctor! :D <3

  • THE DESKTOP THEME HAHAHAHHA

  • Of course... Moffat.

  • I fall in love with this a little bit more every time I watch it.

  • Two people must be in a lot of pain because they don't seem to like doctors.

  • Oooh I cant wait for the 50th anniversary. Maybe itll be kinda like this except with the metacrisis doctor

  • steven moffat wins a rory for most gratiutious use of the word 'belgium' in a serious screenplay.

  • @XxPumpkinSpicexX Same here, I just hope that I may some day be number 15 if he dosen't die at 13, but maybe 16 or up would be better. What number would you like to be?

  • i happened to find this thanks to an IMDB search. i love it!!, but i cant wait for an up coming episode that will have him in it again.

  • I love how the tenth is a fanboy of the fifth ;p

  • @darkironyoshi And what makes it better? Tennant really is. That was scripted, but not acted, that bit. He really did love Five; Tennant went into acting to become the Doctor, after seeing Five growing up. And then he did get to be the Doctor, and he did get to see his idol. So it's even more awesome. :D

  • I hope they have the tenth meet the eleventh

  • @darkironyoshi

    i hope thet have 11 met 4th

    SO MUCH CRAZY :'D

  • "Hey, I'm the Doctor, I can save the universe with a kettle and some string, and look at me, I'm wearing a Vegetable!"

Only the Doctor would ever say something like that....

  • the 3 wot? s. aaa nostalgia

  • Even as someone who doesn't watch Doctor Who, I can really appreciate this. I do know enough about the series and the actors to understand the heart of this, and it's enough to put a smile on my face.

  • 6:22-6:54

i wonder how much of that was David Tennant to Peter Davison, not Doctor Ten to Doctor Five?

  • @GoddessOfWhim2003 All of it was from both David and Ten to Peter and Five.

  • @GoddessOfWhim2003 im almost willing to bet all of it was

  • @GoddessOfWhim2003

I'm pretty sure every bit of it. I recall Tennant saying in an interview that it was his dream as a kid to play The Doctor. It's wonderful that he got to live out that dream :)

  • @FragrantRain

yeah, but was Peter Davison the Doctor he loved as a kid. i was kinda asking a retorical question......

  • @GoddessOfWhim2003 Those 302 seconds made me cry, because I can imagine myself saying that to Tennant: my Doctor <3 and how much the doctor means to everyone in the Who universe, and ours. *cries while writing this*

  • @Kwenspi Oh, I know right. I feel the same.

  • This is absolutely brilliant! There needs to be something with 11 doing something with 8, 7 or someone, hell they should do a Matt Smith - David Tennant episode!

  • It's like in the last moments it's David speaking to Peter, not the Doctor to the Doctor. Suddenly it IS a fan speaking. Have to love that.

  • @Mythdefied especially when David says "You were my doctor"

  • PD: "A fan"

    DT: "Yep....WHAT?!"

  • In my opinion this is the best tenth Doctor moment. I love watching acting light hearted and happy like this.

  • matt smith and david tennant should have an episode like this. that would be a laugh indeed.

at the same time: "wimley-wombley, timey-wimey...stuff."

matt smith: "fish fingers...? and custard, perhaps?"

    DT: "WHAT?!"

  • The credits made me cry. ^__^

  • My PC froze at 0:45, and I saw his arm in the frame, and I'm just like: "OMGOMGOMGsadhfbujhabsfrhvsdhfbgl.

  • i bet the ending speech was david tennant talking rather than the doctor, davison's my fave too. still davison doesnt realli act anything like doc 5 in this, doc 5 was meant to be quiet, shy and gentle, not blustering and quick tempered

  • I just love it how the 10th Doctor says what.

    W-HHHHHHHOT!?

  • lol, decorative vegetable

  • "and look at me i'm wearing a vegetable" !! lol <3

  • 4:42 Butterfingers

  • Steven Moffat REALLY loves blowing up the tardis, doesn't he?

  • Tennant's speech to Davison at the end of this is probably the sweetest moment in the entire history of the show

  • David Tennant and his future father-in-law Peter Davison!

  • @GriffithAMPS This must be the weirdest way to 'meet the parents'. I wonder what David's child and Peter's grandchild will say?

  • Tears forever at David's fanboyism.

  • What is that murray gold music that starts playing at 6:08? I really want a copy!

  • LYNDA. ugh bad memories.

  • BELGIUM !!!!

  • What makes this even more brilliant is that they are going to be related soon! David's soon to be father - in - law!

  • @FirstmateRouge i know! awkward right?

  • "Wibbly, wobbly, timey wimey... stuff."

  • David Tennant... oooh, David Tennant. He is the Doctor. If someone says, "The Doctor" my mind immediatly thinks of him. I like Eleven, but yet I don't like him at the same time. Ten is my Doctor. Eleven is a pony.

  • David Tennant is definitely my Doctor. Matt Smith is amusing, but Tennant was just -more-.

  • Check out this bone structure, Doctor, because one day you're going to be shaving it!

  • Y'know if Doctors meet in the future, I'd love it if they head-butted to share information quickly like Matt Smith did in "The Lodger".

Think about it: Matt Smith runs into Sylvester McCoy or Paul McGann and they're like "Who're you?". And he just goes BAM and they're like "Ah! Number Eleven! Charmed!"

  • does he still have that rubbish beard?

    no beard...well, a wife..

    LOL

  • This has actually made my day. My name is Tegan and hearing it in Doctor Who has made my life damned-near complete! :D

  • @drummingirl94 You should watch the episodes with the Tegan mentioned in this bit. ;)

  • @komohdo47 I've watched some and I think I'm slightly in love with Peter Davison a bit :'D

Plus the character Tegan is also Australian :D

  • @drummingirl94 watch the old series with her in it :P

  • @LandyYecla I've watched some of it and AHH! She's Australian, too!

Chances of my being on Doctor Who just got slightly higher? I like to think so :)

  • @drummingirl94 My name is Nyssa so I know what you mean :) :)

  • @drummingirl94 Wow, your life is complete because you heard your name coincidentally used in a TV show? You must have a really empty life.

  • @Supermassively I never said it was complete; If my life was then I would be dead. Plus, it's a figure of speech ;D go send your hate somewhere else mate :)

  • 7 1/2 minutes of David Tennant just geeking out over Peter Davison, his favorite Doctor growing up. ^_^

  • Tennant's speech at the end to his childhood hero is fantastic

  • @beerman37

Yeah, that got an "Awwwww" out of me.

  • You changed the desktop theme!

  • Excuse me, I think I have something in my eye...

  • And the trainers, and oh, *puts on specs* snap!

  • The brainy specs!!

  • "cus you know what doctor .. you were my doctor "DT ...damn that was a tug at the heart strings

  • i hope david had the time of his life in that moment. Saying those last lines. I hope, for all of us fans who could only dream of such a meeting, i hope it was fantastic

  • "Listen to me! I'm YOU! I'm you with a new face! Check out this bone structure, cuz one day, you're gonna be shaving it!!"

  • the brainie specs?

"you don't even need them. You just think they make you look clever."

...for some odd reason I can remember many times when DT pulled out a pair glass just to look clever too... ie. fear her.

  • And the Mast- oh he just showed up again.

Oh no, rlly? Does he still got that rubbish beard?

Oh no, no beard this time- well, a wife!

  • Just can't get used to David tenant. He looks exactly like Rimmer on red dwarf:)

  • "no, oh no, you're...a fan" LOL

  • "sorry...doctor!" XD

  • Best dr who ever¡ ¿ !!!!!!!¡!!!!!!!

  • The tardis has a desktop theme?

  • @englishlofuzi

yeah watch the old episode, the tardis change a lot :D..i think it change too for the new season with matt smith

  • "Wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey"

    *high five*

    haha fail! XD

  • david will always be my doctor <3

  • *fangril squeal*

  • Did they add that bit with the 2 doctors on? Can't remember that part.

  • david what an amazing doctor the best ever

  • You'd think the 5th Doctor would notice that his TARDIS console looked different before he bumped into the 10th.

  • it would have been better if they both said what

  • I love this so much! And David Tennant was being such a total fanboy here! XD Adorable! And I live in Belgium! YAY

  • @pinkpowerranger21 wonder if "Belgium" is a Hitchhiker's Guide shoutout - Peter Davison played the animal that *wants* you to eat it in an episode

  • And David

    ...

    "You are MY Doctor"

  • TENNANT BEST DOCTOR EVARRRRRRRRRRR

  • @DrMopZodiac

    Could not agree more

  • aaahhh! David T is sooo adorable! He's such a cutesey fanboy ^_^ ^_^

  • Hee. Yeah, this whole thing was essentially one big excuse for David Tennant to go all fanboy. XD And I am not complaining!

  • The rubbish beard joke, is a reference to The Master's sexuality. It's rumoured that he is gay. Thats why the new doctor says "no beard this time, but a wife"

  • Thanks for this video. We in the US miss a lot of what is shown in the UK.

  • @donnakship Darn you UK, apart from your epic Tv shows and other, you suck a bit.

  • @donnakship I'm an American Doctor Who fan. I just discovered this clip and it Made My Day :-D

  • "Check out this bone structure Doctor, because one day you're gonna be shaving it." LOL LOL LOL

  • @ChuChu353 So the Doctor shaves? I always figured Galifreyans simply don't have beards since none of his versions ever had one.

Then again, the Master used to sport one... maybe it's a prop and he just thinks it looks cool?

  • @SsnakeBite You should watch the trailer for the new series. There the Doctor has a beard. ;)

  • @komohdo47 My God he DOES! O_O

And it looks surprisingly right too. I guess after bowties and fez, beards are the new cool thing.

  • major cute!!!! wiggly wobbly timey wimey!!!! *missed high five*

DT was fanboying 5th Doctor it was adorable!

  • Nothing on Doctor Who ever has made me laugh as hard as "Does he still have that rubbish beard?" "No, no beard. Well -- a wife."

  • "Ooooh, the back of my head!" "What?" "Sorry, it's not something you se everyday, is it, the back of your head?"

    So true xD

  • "Oh no of course, you went hands-free didn't you? Like 'Hey, I'm the Doctor, I can save the universe using a kettle and some string! And look at me, I'm wearing a vegetable!"

I LOVE IT SO MUCH. XD

    That was fantastic.

  • I love how at first they're all "Oh excuse me, so sorry" and then they get it.

"Not many men can carry off a decorative vegetable."

  • What a great episode

  • I love how the Doctor calls the Master's wife his 'beard'. gay-joked =p

  • Explain

  • i get it, there are so many small things that are really clever, sometimes you gotta watch over and over to get them.

  • YES! awesome. lol

  • the 5th doctor was the 10th doctor's doctor. that was such a cute line, nothing like a shout out to fans to make you feel good.

  • I love both the 5th & 10th doctor. Love the bit where the 10th gos of the high 5.

  • thank you for posting!!! gosh i love that man! well, both of them- well, they're the same man so... yes, that works. I love the Doctor. Short and sweet.

  • So shouldn't he have been expecting the Master to come along at some point during his tenth incarnation...No because at THAT point in his tenth he hadn't yet met his fifth therefore his sixth seventh eighth and ninth would not know five and ten would meet or the Master would show up again. It's fun arguing with myself. Wibbley wobbley etc.

  • @MarkJoseph4

Nah, the only real explanation is that he wasn't really thinking about it - as the fifth, he would have had no way of knowing that was his specifically tenth reincarnation, just a future one, any future one.

And since the master was such a common feature of the fifth's life, he probably didn't really remember it as anything strange.

Cool though - The first time the tenth looked in the mirror I wonder if he thought, "I look familiar... OH YEAAAA!!!"

  • @iilwjcanc Well he couldn't recognise his new face in the mirror because the encounter with his fifth incarnation hadn't happened yet for him to remember. It's brilliant stuff time travel. But theres so many explanations it's pointless getting into it.

  • @MarkJoseph4

Yea but he could because he would have seen himself as the fifth doctor. Imagine the timeline.

    1) is fifth doctor. Meets this future version of self

    2) regenerates to 10th doctor... recognises self from earlier memory

    3) meets fifth, earlier version of self. Everything now makes sense

  • @iilwjcanc

I think of it as the Doctor's personal timeline being the man we see it happening to. So the fifth incarnation went through his life not meeting himself because like they said it shouldn't happen.

And it didn't happen until in his future the Doctor repaired the TARDIS and forgot to put the shields up, then at that instant the event happens the memories are forming. The Doctor being a complex man and all.

But that's just my take on the Doctor's timeline.

  • @iilwjcanc Boring follow up theory.

For example when nine regenerated into ten Rose didn't say

"oh you're that drunk guy I bumped into on New Years 2005"

mainly because when people standing in a dark corner whom you assume to be drunk and engage you in brief conversation you don't make sure to precisely remember their features...

But also I like to think because it hadn't happened yet. May have been in her past but the Doctor hadn't the need to go back and "say goodbye" yet.

  • thx for uploading this

  • He likes harping on the celry

  • This was amazing ! I über LOLled :D !

  • i just found out this existed lol that was awsome i always wanted an episode where he ran into an old doctor. they should still make one.

  • I LUV CELERY!!! well it tastes horrible but still.

  • thats kool

  • XD yea

  • this is Excellent!!!

  • heyyy I'm the Doctor, I can save the universe using a kettle and some string and look at me, I'm wearing a vegetable!

    LOOL! They rock together...

  • "You've changed the desktop theme!" ROFL!

  • "No beard this time...well, a wife."

Steven Moffat is amazing. Not just for that line, but for everything he writes.

  • Can someone tell me what the significance of the celery is?! Why does he wear it?

  • Watch The Caves on Androzani and then you'll know. ;)
