All have sinned and greatly offended the holy God of the bible. The just punishment is death then hell. That's not Gods will. He suffered and died on the cross paying for the law you broke in His life's blood so He could legally dismiss your case. You must repent turn from your sin and trust alone in Jesus Christ for your salvation.

the age of reason will come sooner or later and fortunately this fairytale will be unravelled and its followers commited for the outdated insanity they preach even today. christians ,religious people in general, you are mindfucked and too simple to realize it. leave this world peacefully for the betterment of mankind.
@CFries87 - I believe you read into this the wrong way... having an anger problem is "bondage." He didn't say simply getting angry or you could not get angry. When anger is a problem it has the ability to grow into rage, violence, et cetera. I hope this helps. Peace.
@CFries87 --- He did not say "have a problem with" he said "IN BONDAGE TO"-- There is a huge difference!
Bondage-slavery-a prisoner of anger vs. the holy spirit revealing to us the pride which is at the root of our anger- as we cry out to God to forgive us and help heal us and make us more like Jesus. And each time we get angry there is more of God pruning us- disciplining us- and we become less "sorry" for what we are doing and become more thankful for what GOD is doing!
Thank you very much for uploading! Mr. Washer is such a blessing... God bless him! and this is challenging to all ministers and Bible teachers. God bless everyone!
Jesus is desperately and madly in Love for people to come. He is more in control over things than we give Him credit for. Religous spirit demands righteousness, the Spirit of Grace imparts righteousness. The religous spirit says "do! do! do!" the Spirit of Grace says, "Done, Done! Done!"
This is so true, we are so shaped by our own desires, and the scariest thing is that God will give us our desires in full. Another scary thing is that we rarely figure it out. My biggest problem with my desires, is that I desire people to think something about me, and im shaped by that desire. I can only feel upset when i hear this message. I feel like trivial things robbed me of the great mercy Christ has shown me on the cross.
The scripture about God giving you the desires of your heart is Psalm 37:4 and says, "Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart."
I disagree with all of you. Redtide is right. Paul Washer is also right, we shouldn't focus on sin - but on Jesus's forgiveness. But I think Washer's point is if you're still sinning alot, it's a good indication that you don't know God.
@zenforaday if u r sinning alot, it means your mind is not renewed to who u really are in christ.. U r still focusing on the law.. right n wrong (eating from the same old tree of knowledge of good and evil) when u should be focusing on Jesus, his finished work, his obedience, His holiness, His Righteousness. (tree of life)
I can bet with my life that those who listened to Paul Washer is still sinning as they did 1 year ago... Until u look ONLY to HIM and His finished Work, u will not win.
@zenforaday Christianity is not about u and your obedience. Its about Jesus' obedience that results in your blessing, his LIfe for your death, His righteousness for your sin, his Holiness for your failings. Believing this is the OBEDIENCE - This is the obedience of faith and from here, u start to live the Christian life.
God wants u to put your total faith in Jesus. U did nothing to save yourself, u will do nothing to perfect it. Give up and he will do the REST.
I said sin is not a problem because Jesus dealt with it 2000 years ago. Right now, a christian's focus should be on the love and depth of the forgiveness and receive daily from the love and acceptance and not on "not sinning" - which will lead to more sin and frustration.
Be about God's business & that means love the Lord your God with all your heart & with all your soul & with all your might & love your neighbor as yourself.
Now if you don't do the last part then the rest is likely suspect as we are all the work of God's hand & a good deal of them are slaves to sin.
Remember the hosts of heaven rejoice for one person who is dealing with sin according to Psalms 51:17 than any other work for God you can do.

People are slaves to sin because of preaching like this.
Do u think the woman caught in adultery went out to sleep around again ? Deal with sin jesus way and not some preachers way. I told u, the secret is in the gospel story of the woman in adultery and also in the prodigal son story.
Your right the woman in adultery knew she was a sinner and God was offering forgiveness.
The prodigal son knew he was living a life of sin and knew that he shouldn't be because he was a son and thus desired anything from his previous life as sin was ruining the present one.
Sin is key to the correct relationship with God as those who know they need are savior are thinking rightly.
Sin is key to the correct relationship with God ?? You are saying that our sins are bigger than Jesus's sacrifice and that his blood is not good enuf for us and we need sin to make our relationship with God perfect?
Obviously, u do not know the magnificence and the quality of this God-man Jesus Christ.
You also implied that Adam and his sin is bigger than what Jesus has done on the cross.
Yes he does, but before he did, he did not condemn her for her sin. Read the scripture accurately and stop spewing half truth. tats what the devil do.
The free gift of no condemnation gives her the power to stop sinning.
People remain in sin becos they feel lousy and unloved. Jesus loved the woman unconditionally inspite of her sin and he make sure she knows it. Therein lies the power to live free from sin.
This will be too deep for most since most only have religion.
I never said Jesus condemned her of her sin. He did make a point after everything else had happened to mention that one point so do you think that was important or not? Our faith without works is dead.
being holy and not living in sin is critical to being saved! stop posting satan's gospel and saying sin is not a problem... this is EXACTLY what satan teaches, look up "a course in miracles".
Jesus takes care of your sins only if you repent! If you don't repent and you think you belong to Jesus, guess where you're going! thats right: hell! it wouldn't matter how much love and forgiveness you had, you'd still perish without repentance.
By the way, my argument is not if u have accepted Christ for your sins. Its after u r born again, what next? My point is to continue to focus on his finished work and enjoy the blessings while some are focus on not sinning and doing the "christian" things where sooner or later, they will soon fall into legalism, sin and away from church.
Sin is a big problem and that is why Jesus died for it.
Thank you ECX0x100h.
You can't speak enough of the blood as the blood is what covers a multitude of sin. Jesus washed me white as snow but it cost Him and I am eternally grateful.
Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. -
Isnt that what I said. U focus on Sin, I focus on the free gift of eternal life through Jesus. Read the whole verse in its context.. not just your favorite.
When u focus on sin, u sin more. When u focus on the forgiveness and love of God for u, u sin less.
Why people sin and mutilate and destroy themselves, because they feel guilty and worthless on the inside with no solution. Receiving his unconditional forgiveness is the only solution but U reject it.
See How Jesus dealt with the woman caught red-handed in adultery. His solution is the same today.
Maybe Redtide, but maybe when you focus on your sin more you reach Psalms 51:17 and become broken over your sin and change more for he who has much to be forgiven owes much to his Father and Jesus came to seek and to save that which is lost and by focusing on your sin you can know you are lost.
U say sin is a problem and yet in 2 sentence, u ask me to get out there and sin. I am appalled that someone who is against sin is so "short tempered" and "loveless". Is this the fruit of your belief system or "holy living"?
And in many ways I agree...sin isn't the problem. We have been set free of sin. HOWEVER it's my willingness to make Christ sacrifice moot by wallowing in the same thing he set me died to set me free from. Yes, we are forgiven but we are also called to put away childish things.
Don't be foolish. I could do the same thing with what you were. He is wearing a suit to dress nice, the fact that you were t-shirts might be wrong. Who are you trying to appeal to....probably no one. so you cant say men who dress nice do it to please others either. As long as it is appropriate then don't judge a man by outward appearance.
I just think wearing a suit is foolish and is to please men. That's all. I'm one of those people who thinks what you do "inside of church" and outside should be the about the same.. Things such as clothing.
What if he wears those outside side the church? His generation might think that what we were is to please others. Like the way we do our hair the t-shirts the jeans. So what your wearing is wrong to then. SO what if a man wears a suit to church when he preaches, and does not when is out of church. I will also personally wear in church what i wear out of church, but he might want to wear a suit when he preaches. You know Paul does not use flattery. Look at the mans fruit, not outward appearance.
Jesus' cloth is so good and so expensive that the soldiers had to gamble for it. Do u think it is some cheap 2nd hand store junk these soldiers are going for?
@Redtide he wore a good cloth, but one that would'n cought up the attention of the people that much. You know, kings had good clothes thoose times. So for The King Of Kings, and Creator, and for God, The Son, thoose clothes were pretty humble.
@justajoke2007 Jesus is full of love but mind u, if tat all u know of Him, u are warped and only know him 50%. U think Jesus is some hippie walking through some sunflower field smelling the flower and talk about Love all the time.
I am asking a very simple question. What should he wear if the cloths he was wearing then was too lowly. SO WHAT IS FITTING for Him?
Problem is a lot of Christians have put aside their brains for a long time now. All becos of erroneous preaching over the pulpit.
@Redtide I can see from your favorites that you don't like anything about God, ... so why will i believe what you say is true anymore? You are still speaking ugly about me...and the other christians, ...and i still don't understand your point.
@justajoke2007 Am I so deep u dont understand me? I said Jesus wore good clothes that the soldiers will gamble for. U said even if it is good, it is still humble cloths for the king of kings. Sure. So if the good cloth is still humble for him, so wat cloth is then appropriate for Him, is there any cloths that He should wearing that is befitting for the King of Kings?
i hope God raise's more ppl, like this, maybe less ppl will fall asleep in church, and a true revival will break out, it's almost at the point where we need another reformation.
Every man women or child that listens to him should feel convicted because theres not a single person whos perfect and every single person is convicted by something in the truth he speaks. I hope that nobody feels that they are not subject to some of the things Paul Washer speaks of because THEY ARE!
You are accepted before the Father all the time not because u r right but because Jesus is right. If u look hard enuf there will always be things that dont measure up but if u realise that God accepts and bless u based on Jesus's perfect work, then your acceptance is sure and secure.
no its not great it should cause you to repent and really turn away from the things you are doing, because you realize how much God hates it and you dont want to do the things He doesn't like
Lane was saying that it was wonderful that Paul's preaching caused conviction and a turning from sin. Lane was not promoting sin. Conviction is good in a believers life since it causes a turning from what God hates and a further conformance with His Son.
@Conail23 No, conviction is the when the Holy Spirit of God pricks your heart and let's you know what is right and wrong. He does this when we read His word, or maybe see righteousness carried out in others. Many different ways, actually. So, it's good because that's the first moment we realize that we NEED repentance.
@JREAMING Well, have u considered that in the NT, the role of the holy spirit is to convict you of your righteousness? Meaning, in spite of your sins, God still see u holy and righteousness becos of Jesus.
The reason why Jesus is here is precisely u r full of junk, so the HS's work is not to show u how horrible u r but how right u r in spite of your junk. Look Up. Not in.
This is too deep for most as most people are more into religion. Still eating from the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
Lord willing, it will be on the Stage6 page soon. If you go to my profile here on Youtube, look to the left where the description is and you will see the url there.. If you have trouble, let me know.
A lot of people think that by becoming a Christian, they're going to be in bondage from the law, but they do not see and they do not understand. It's the sin that they're slaves to. Jesus Christ sets us free.

What is the attitude of his heart is what is most important, don't you think?
john146only 3 years ago 3
Yeah but he's talking about the slavery of seeking the praise of men... But yes i would agree in the long run it's the attitude of the heart!

Don't get me wrong, I love Paul Washer, but be careful not to raise his authority and his name over the authority and name of God.

i hope God raise's more ppl, like this, maybe less ppl will fall asleep in church, and a true revival will break out, it's almost at the point where we need another reformation.

I feel conviction too, the bible scores again, the word of God is truly is sharper than a 2 edged sword, dividing soul and spirit...

Every man women or child that listens to him should feel convicted because theres not a single person whos perfect and every single person is convicted by something in the truth he speaks. I hope that nobody feels that they are not subject to some of the things Paul Washer speaks of because THEY ARE!

Paul's words are true. His preaching reminds us to examine our lives and words.

You are accepted before the Father all the time not because u r right but because Jesus is right. If u look hard enuf there will always be things that dont measure up but if u realise that God accepts and bless u based on Jesus's perfect work, then your acceptance is sure and secure.

Everytime I listen to Paul Washer I feel conviction
JREAMING 4 years ago 13
I do, too. Isn't it great?
LaneCh 4 years ago 4
no its not great it should cause you to repent and really turn away from the things you are doing, because you realize how much God hates it and you dont want to do the things He doesn't like
talithakoumi 4 years ago
That's why I wrote that. Did you think I wrote that because I was advocating sin?
LaneCh 4 years ago
yeah, isnt that conviction?
Conail23 4 years ago
Huh?
LaneCh 4 years ago
Lane was saying that it was wonderful that Paul's preaching caused conviction and a turning from sin. Lane was not promoting sin. Conviction is good in a believers life since it causes a turning from what God hates and a further conformance with His Son.
Thank you for the posts and your ministry Lane!

Pro 9:8 Do not reprove a mocker or he will hate you; reprove a wise person and he will love you.
A wise person likes when people are pointing out his sin, so that he can fight it :)

If you look on the Stage6 page later this evening, it should be up. It is called "God's Will for Slaves." (Paul Washer)
LaneCh 4 years ago
A lot of people think that by becoming a Christian, they're going to be in bondage from the law, but they do not see and they do not understand. It's the sin that they're slaves to. Jesus Christ sets us free.

Yet another truth to ponder, thanks. I'm going to search my heart for a hidden idol tonight and repent of it. Solus Christus!
