  • I am finding this campaign incredibly interesting, and you are giving me inspiration on how to run my DND campaign better than ever! obviously, it`ll take some time to incorporate some of your ideas (if you don`t mind), but I can`t wait. Great campaign!

  • I probably need to clarify my last statement. I’m referring to the Goblins web-comic entries posted from 06/05/2006 to 07/10/2006.

  • @TheOnyx800 Well on that score I must say that I'm unaware of what you speak, alas.

  • Reminds me of the beefed up yellow musk creeper that the adventure party from goblins ran into.

  • Sounds like an episode of "X Files". Well done!

  • @liabatud67 I didn't even consider it like that, but you're right!

  • This is as bad as waiting for Doctor Who to start up again with that Smith guy...though it would be better if Tennet was still in...humm, maybe that would be worse as then I would want to see that even more. So, my only hope is you.

  • @thadeus62 Ha! Well Pathfinder has been played again, so there will be a video shortly.

  • Just commenting on this video again to tell you something. Consider your Myconid idea stolen!!

  • @fean77 I also really like the God of Ooze. One of the very few things I like about 4th ed is how he's become a much more powerful deity.

I'm thinking Siggy the bard will wake up in his inn room with a slime on the ceiling, slowly stretching towards his face. That and a room full of mold. What could be causing it!?

  • Hello,

I contemplated getting back into AD&D after 30 years and low and behold it’s now Pathfinder. Your video fireside chats were helpful to see that things have not gone too afar from how the game used to play out. Ok, you don’t have a fireplace, but a grinning facemask on your right..and your alcohol stock seems to be increasing behind you…but that’s about how it was back then.

(face belonged to my parents and the bottles were empty)

    FREEZE THE MUSHROOM KING

  • @thadeus62 Freeze him, eh? Mushrooms don't like the cold... Don't give my players ideas!

I like how your user name is the same as my character name from Anima. :o)

  • @clackclickbang Yes, Thadeus patron saint of lost causes..also my middle name..thanks parents for your high hopes.

  • @thadeus62 I always thought that was St Jude.

  • @clackclickbang Same dude.

  • @WalGunPro088 Thank you for saying so. Very kind.

  • I love pathfinder, it's so much better than 4.0 if you ask me because they seemed to have dulled it down and almost taken out a lot of RP for newer players.

  • @Azartusfar I totally agree. Pathfinder is far superior in my opinion.

  • I'll always love 3.5 far better than 4.0 and I'm about to test run through the Necropolis campaign up next.

  • @Azartusfar As in Gary Gygax's Necropolis? I played that a good few years ago and found it a damn difficult game, but that may have been the way it was being run at the time. I recall it being quite merciless.

  • Yes but it looks like a fun challenge and seems like my players are ready for something like this.

  • @Azartusfar Good luck with it. Definitely let me know how it goes.

  • Yes, it is proving to be dangerous in town, they got attacked by demoncroc in the night and if it weren't for the cleric the fighter would have been done extremely fast.

  • Oh man, I've always wanted to fit a gibbering mouther into one of my adventures.

  • @Azartusfar I did enjoy describing how it poured out of the wall.

  • A suggestion if i may. With all the series you have now on your channel i think you should arrange all of them in proper playlists. That way it will be easier on us if we simply want to watch a Pathfinder or review video. That way we won't to scroll through your entire upload list to see if we missed something.

  • @marvelona Oh and it sounds like an awesome campaign!!!! I am still trying to get my FATE campaign up and running.

  • @marvelona Still not running it? Tut.

  • @clackclickbang It is really hard to find a group and a place to play. The local community used to be very active(biggest RP community in the country), but now all the heads of the community have since become riddled with other matters. Now the only ones who have been in the community enough to know whats what don't have the time to arrange things. All the other members are too young. This sucks because it was my main source of groups and players.

  • @marvelona That's a bit crap. Do you have an online community where you can find new players? Obviously this is for the UK specifically, but we have a UK Roleplayers forum which is excellent for finding new and experienced players in the area.

  • @clackclickbang Like i said the only forum good that sort of thing in my area belongs to the local RP community and it has been quiet as of late. I might try Skype RPing. You had some expirience with that, how was it?

  • @marvelona I actually have playlists already and they should be on my channel. The Pathfinder one is here: youtube . com/ view_play_list?p=DA3C99906A529779 without the spaces.

  • Ill give the illustration a go however it may be a while coming as I have an A-Level art exam in Febuary so it could be a little side project I could do every now and then but I'm determined to give it a go. I got an A in GCSE Art and Im predicted an A in A Level art so I think I have enough skill, plus it sure as hell beats drawing the usual monotonous drivel that we're given as subject matter.

  • @aphexsam Superb! Let me know when you give it a go.

  • You have to love a God of Ooze. I always wanted to play an Ooze master.

Thank you Sir. Sedimentary was a good guess. :)

Fire, lots and lots of fire. Industrial scale barrels of alchemical fire.

I'm glad I could help. I expect thank you cards from your players at the end of the adventure. :)

  • @tetsubo57 Good old Ghaunadaur. Like an even nastier Juiblex, in my opinion.

Your suggestion was fantastic inspiration for this plot, so thank you.

I do wonder how the characters will deal with the Mushroom King and his servants...

  • This campaign continues to just ooze in greatness! Very enjoyable to listen to.

  • @TowerGuardDM Ooze! Ho ho :p

  • brilliant. ta. do the pcs yet know the fate of the captured priests ? have the priests succumbed to the power of rei amanita phalloides or is it viable/possible to save them? i guess i'm asking what have the pcs sussed out and what do they plan : full scale annihilation of the cavern or the rescue of the holy hostages ? always find party decisions interesting...i would pull the heartstrings of those inclined :)

not an artist, not like that-sorry. but yes would love to see the scene.

    nice one

  • @23penguins32 They don't know yet if the priests are dead or alive, so their actions will have to be considered. As far as I'm concerned the priests can be saved if the Mushroom King is slain and the fungus inside them is killed, but whether that happens or not...

  • One thing you might try is to have the evil priest try to manipulate whoever is the reincarnation of the god of murder to kill someone else in the party on the pretext that they are, in fact, said reincarnation.

You could even make it part of the rebirth ritual; the one chosen must commit a murder of their own free will. This works even if there are multiple people who are the reincarnation; the one who undertakes the deed is then the (un)holy sacriment vessel for the rebirth.

  • @ScreamingDoom Ah, but that would reveal the surprise of the spawn of Bhaal a little too early I feel. The Mushroom King and his servants may well make a reappearance however, if this scene doesn't end in a massacre.

  • @clackclickbang Well, I meant as a more long-term thing, rather than something that happens relatively soon. You could have the monk recieve a letter that tells him what he must do and then he has to figure out a way to do it. Which means his long term plan would be something like:

    1 - Find the spawn(s) of Bhaal

2 - Prevent everyone else from discovering

3 - Convince party/spawn that someone else is the spawn

4 - Convince spawn to commit murder

5 - Deliver spawn to ritual site

  • @ScreamingDoom Now that could work. You've made my mental gears start whirring...
