if ms wants to keep its customers they better get thier stuff together. the message underneath is supposed to be read first. they said it was gonna be 140 bucks f that!!! i wont pay money for anything from MS anymore except for Xbox live, and that is only till this new Xbox 360 breaks. i perosnally think that MS is breaking them on purpose to make people buy more of them.
my xbox 360 just broke i had shipped it to ms one time before for RRoD. but now its a disc read error, "disc is unreadable" ms customer support is a joke, bunch of indians who can only read english. im gonna fix it my self fuck microsoft they wont help me and now im stuck with a working game system that wont read a game it reads DVD's. ohh yeah i forgot to say when i called MS they told me that it was out of warrenty the warrenty expired 12/31/09 and it broke 1/5/10 that is some bs.
yeah, even with the latest update it just tells me to download the xbox game again (even though its an original DVD) just another screw up by micro$oft - i was told to send the console back again, but i didnt bother, if i send it back again its getting traded in for a PS3 when its fixed.
ps3 has problems like the 360 probably more i had a 360 but sold it n got a ps3 n same shit yellow light of death or the cable stops workin so i use the hd plug in n that stops workin as well but oh well they made them like that on purpose only reall good things bout ps3 is no batterys they have blue ray and online is free
haha fair play man, my xbox broke too like a month after the warrenty. dude ur situation sounds quite bad tho. ud think something big like microsoft would at least bring out a perfect console or even care about loyal customers. yhh the call centers r stoo0pid to. shame rele i r pr0 at halo 3 lololol. respect

Update: At last MS have sent me the UPS label and receipt stuff via email I've rung UPS and they've picked it up and its now on its way, with my av output problem it may take less then 2 weeks from what I've been told so hopefully should have it back possibly this time in 2 weeks
Its taken me 2 weeks to finally get Microsoft to acknowledge it to return it for repairs I rang them 5-6 times and explained my problem which was a video output AV problem (no red lights problem) and they either don't ring back or email which is annoying which they say they would and now I'm finally expecting UPS to pick it up sometime this week (I hope).
good luck with UPS, there just as incompetent from my experience, 1st they didn't pick up & didn't know why, so i drove & dropped it off, then on delivery, I was told by their call centre that when they request a delivery elsewhere, the delivery people just go to the same address so I should pick it up.
not only that but for some reason my console only had 5 months of warranty on it. I bought it in June 2007 and the warranty expired in November I informed Microsoft of this and they said they will try to put another 6 months on it as of this month. Some people reckon they should be taken to court because of this.
The replacement one I got from microsoft (that dont play Xbox games & I have to send BACK!) only has 3 months warranty I was told by the indian fella on the phone & not 12 months which it should have (he told me I had to return it by March if I wanted the problem fixing) I personally think its a problem with the dashboard updates, jumping from original to the latest one-as the fella was an idiot.
Just now I've having trouble again, UPS didn't turn up I rung MS told them and they said they will email me a electronic copy of the sticker with return address I have to put on the box then I have to ring UPS to come and pick it up myself. apparently the guy who took the info down on Saturday I talked got the wrong info. Their idiots and can't understand what you explain to them properly
told you, I had to drop mine off even with the pre-payed address I printed. UPS & M$ = hell.
Dont forget to send the console only, no HDD or power prick or anything. my HDD went missing with my credit card details on as bought some M$ points, & conveniently now has been fraudulently used!
