Bigger numbers = better splits.
they measure how close you can get to the point where the two springboards meet.

if say...darby got a 10 on her splits it means she did a perfect 180 degrees split. and she got 14 so she went 4 inches over a perfect split!

I think you can chose wether to do it on the floor, low or high beam.
