Can anyone explain the mechanics of the displaced pieces of marsh? It is supposedly a natural phenomena?

I would love to live in such a community, and not simply because of the 'lights'. It's so calm and picturesque.

@zenmeister451 the only device even close to cutting shrubbery or grass and then decarding them yards away would be something close to a lawn mower. but spaceship , Not sure i wanna make that leap. LOL
