Musharraf would be one of the greates dictator in history. I would still accept him for controlling PAK even as a dictator. Dictatorship has two results. And the result depends on the dicator, meanining what type of dictator he is. If he does good things for the country...then the dictator can take the nation very far in progressing (like Musharraf did). However, if he does bad things he can destroy the nation because a dicator has all the power to rule so he could do anything ...Good or Bad.

It is run by politicians and they are under check (scrutiny, auditing, whatever you say) by Army and Supreme Court, this is called the Security Council. Leaders are those who make the right choices, make full use of the situation, maximize the potential and most importantly are not corrupt.

Understand my dynamics...Iraq Sadam Hussain was the biggest puppet full of US backing for more than 20 years! Because Sadam was a military dictator he thinks like a dictator which means use power even if its ppl are dying to make US happy! After 20 years US fully understood Sadam's intentions, personality, engaged spyies with him, most important made an image that IRAQ army is very strong... try to understand this point. Sadam just like Mushy said army is best without nations backing.

did musharraf ever gas shias? were shias or kurds of iraq alqeda?
i know u will try to compare pak army's action against terrorists like alqeda with saddam's action against minorities. difference is that saddam did it for political reasons and it was also based on animosity with shias etc
in this case musharraf and army RIGHTLY acted against shadowy rouge terroristsd groups..and ZARDARI WILL DO THE SAME

One day this nation will remember Musharraf as the Greatest ever leader of this country. His picture should be printed on currecny notes. This nation has lost a great leader whp always put Pakistan First.

there are many people in pakistan who have yet to realize the affects of declining reserves,stock exchange.value of rupee,n deciline in economy as whole for past 6 months due to totall failure of leadrship,pervez musharraf knew that there are two most important issues that country needs to deal with,1 betterment of economy and fighting extremism,today those two burning issues and country as whole are being taken hostage by nawaz sharif for judges and anti mush agenda,while country is burning.
