Thanks for posting this my first view of him as Jan! A few months ago I read an old article on Yahoo about this role. Mickey bought the wardrobe HIMSELF at a sex shop! Then took a coach seat on a plane IN FULL Jan gear for this one day shoot! He smiled at a kid on a plane and he had his teeth out and the kid SCREAMED! When he arrived on set wearing a blond wig NOBODY realized it was him! Funny stuff and a amazing guy.

Rourke gives his characters REALITY. I think he's an acting genius. He was in this film less than 10 minutes but he was the most memorable part becuase what he creates has such depth and operates on so many levels. Go see part 3 on You Tube of Jan The Actress and see if you agree.

Man, I have been looking for this movie for years, I saw it on TV once, and I loved it right away.
