I know the 767 is a widebody, but its not as wide as other widebodies. The 767 mainly uses just 2-3-2 config whereas the A330/A340 uses 2-4-2. The 767 can do 2-4-2 as well but it's very cramped.
Also, it can only carry LD3 cargo containers in a single row leaving unused space in the cargo hold.
The 767 has a sort of oval fuselage cross section being 16ft wide and 17ft high, whereas the A330 has a round fuselage at 18ft 6 inches in diameter.
