These monkeys r living it up w/ people n in my opinion from what I have seen they r given a much more happier n healthier lifestyle than they would ever have in the. Actually there are a number of successful rehabilitation programs for monkeys raised in human environments. They are quite intelligent and capable of learning to live on their own. I love baby monkeys.

From birth it was raised pampered, and after you start them like that then there is no changing, usually. It's either the monkey is in the house, or the monkey dies in the wild.

Thats the same with all pets. The don't deserve to be indoors. However better in a safe home than a nasty pet store where they are always overcrowded and it slowly kills them. When he is older it is likely he will be put back into the wild.

Thanks for your reply, but sadly, he will not be put back into he wild when he is older. He will be used to having food served to him in a dish and will not be prepared to live in the wild. Who knows what will happen to this fellow when he is old, or when the owners tire of him.

very cute - I used to have monkeys just like that one wild sneaking into my backyard back when I was about 10. My brother and I used to shoot at them with supersoakers (water pistols) to shoo them off. But this one looks like a happy member of the family - very sweet.
