sparklingangel03, I went with the TaLK Program (sister program to EPIK) and my mentor teacher from my school was the one who found the apartment for me. TaLK (and EPiK) are contracting agencies, meaning they offer you up to a whole bunch of different schools in Korea to be potentially hired. Once hired, your school is the one who does everything for you (pick out a place, get your first round of basic supplies, teaches you how to work the grabage system, etc.) Hope to have a great school!
Was the apartment provided for by a program like EPIK? I'm just wondering because I received placement in Daegu this past weekend through them, and I'm wondering what the living conditions and expenses are like.
That's not how they shower. You just got a cheap place.
.
BTW, I thought it was only ugly girls that came to East Asia to teach English lol

well, that's a tiny apartment for a single person, and that's why there is no bath tub.
obviously bigger so called "apartments" (which is actually high rise condos) have bath tubs.
and carpeted floors are rare in korean residential housing.

I miss Korean bathrooms. So easy to clean. Just hose down the whole bathroom!
