Two different dancers for one part? Hm..

@meaniemae What's odd about it??? They both perform it on different nights or the same night different times. A dancer would burn out quick if they had to perform every swan lake or whatever ballet if they had to do it every time it was on. There is also always and alternate dancer(understudy) if for any reason the principal dancer is unable to dance.

Alison Roper is my favorite dancer in the company. But all of them are very talented.

i LOVE yuka iino and alison roper! they make beautiful sugar plum fairies =] when they came to my town for the nutcracker, they were so nice.
