yo smart guy, turn your brain on. height does not refer to diameter, hence the different names for each attribute. The brake rotor is a cylinder that infact does have both height dimensions and diameter dimensions. A 6" dia. cylinder can be 2" high or 200" high and still be 6" dia. Go back to smoking pot Rocky.

Pu the new rotor on a brake lathe.Sometimes new rotors can be warped.I have seen some brand new rotors that had to be sent back,warped badly

yo it cant be the same diameter and not the same height, if the diameter is 6'' the height is also 6''
