This looks so cool. It makes me jealous since my brother has a 3DS and I don't. Still, I'm gonna miss the old Monster Hunter that actually took skill instead of fancy armors and weapons.

So let me get this straight, we had a MH game on PS2, PSP, fucking 360, Wii, and now 3ds. WHERE IS THE PS3 MH!? Don't give me that MH 3rd remaster on PS3 because its a port and its only in Japan. Although, it would be pretty cool if there was a cross play with vita and PS3, but we first need an actual game to this.

It'd be crazy to say those 6 games can make the 3DS fail. Won't happen. I'd say we're in for a good battle though. Games like Kid Icarus, Fire Emblem, Contra, Animal Crossing & Paper Mario are VERY heavy hitters in the industry, & no one else will have them. Assassin's Creed, MGS & Monster Hunter are all coming for the 3DS as well.

I'm getting a 3ds. For me, money does not grow on trees unfortunately, so I am fine with the 3DS. I dont care for the 3D. I just want a simple and portable gaming system. Also I prefer a foldable device, so that the screen is always protected. The game library is plenty by now. Plenty enough for me. MGS 3 will probably take me two weeks for only one playthrough. My military years are over, where I had time enough to play Snake Eater through on one weekend. If you can afford a PSV good for you.
People are getting the wrong idea about this game, people are saying it looks like a uncharted type of game-play, do you not remember that this is just a trailer? theyre trying to get out a message for their new type of free-run type of maps, to make it more interesting, then just cutting and running to a different area. Like usually every monster hunter game you have the ability to choose if you wanna run or you wanna stay and fight. if not run to an area that you feel comfortable fighting in,

Plus who's going to even bother with this? Portable 3rd is available on both PSP and PS3 and are importable and cross-compatible. Not to mention the PSP version has an english patch, not that you'd need one if you played a MH game before.

What in gods green earth has capcom come to? First of all the graphics look horrible its like watching a youtube video on 240. The movement of the Tigrex *Aka first monster shown* is super unrealistic. Almost every monster in the monster hunter franchise uses strategic movement including the tigrex in the preivously made monster hunter 2 for psp. There is no monster that just throws itself everywhere except fr the gigginox wich barely does that. in my personal opinon this is Mh 2.5 with hacks

Hmm...did you notice how big that area was? MH4 might become an open world type of game instead of pieces of area on a map. I dislike the uneven terrain though. May make you miss on some hits. The new environment looks like there will be more to the game than just "move to area and fight"...But alpha is alpha. We'll have to wait and see...
Nothing against nintendo or xbox i hope its a multi platform game i just find that the nintendo servers that are used are slightly more unreliable than the sony servers and mildly unreliable compared to the microsoft servers

COD has massive amount of popularity even with non-gamer's. And most of the community hate it. Yeah I'm sure some of you like it. But whenever I go to a COD video or a FPS contender like BF3, I always see "COD sucks".
Popularity doesn't sell the game, it only grants it temporal sales.

What in gods green earth has capcom come to? First of all the graphics look horrible its like watching a youtube video on 240. The movement of the Tigrex *Aka first monster shown* is super unrealistic. Almost every monster in the monster hunter franchise uses strategic movement including the tigrex in the preivously made monster hunter 2 for psp. There is no monster that just throws itself everywhere except fr the gigginox wich barely does that. in my personal opinon this is Mh 2.5 with hacks

may i slap whoever thought having a major Monster Hunter on a Portable rather than a home console was a good idea? who thought that was a good idea? why limit themselves to a 2-4 GB memory card and use a full 50GB that a Blu-ray uses and...whatever format the Wii U uses. if they want this game so badly for portables then fine do it, but why limit yourself to a portable when you can create a game 10x's better in a console?

There are monster hunters on xbox and ps3 in japan, complain enough to them, and maybe they'll someday release them for the piles of free money it will get XD

Monster Hunter Tri G looks better, and it was a rushed port, so 4 will look way better and play better by the time it reachs beta stage. Just deal with the fact that Capcom chose 3DS, maybe they gave up on Sony or realized that Nintendo is superior, who cares?

@DRAGOON2ONIONKNIGHT thing is, monster hunter is not a casual game. it has never been, the psp version did not sell that much in the west, because some of the harder fights can go for over 1 hour and you need concentration for them. i couldn't play monster hunter on a bus. the wii flopped too, cuz the console was aimed at housewifes who wanted to play boling. if capcom wants to get money ot ouf the west through this HARDCORE title, they should put it on pc.

Hmm...did you notice how big that area was? MH4 might become an open world type of game instead of pieces of area on a map. I dislike the uneven terrain though. May make you miss on some hits. The new environment looks like there will be more to the game than just "move to area and fight"...But alpha is alpha. We'll have to wait and see...
