Etta sang this song WAY better. But when Etta was in her prime, she doesn't sing it better now. But I still don't like the way Beyonce sings it.

Thanks for all the good comments!! Her performace was definitely better live than how they played it on tv. That's why I taped it instead :). Tickets were available to Citi card owners about 2 months ago.

this recording is better than the official CBS recording. You hear the resonance of her voice a lot better because it isn't digitally altered on a sound equilizer for TV broadcasting. I love listening to this version
