The "red seal" two dollar notes are nice looking. I don't bother with the 1934 "green seal" series unless they are in excellent condition though.

@rpvohra That's not a half dollar. It's actually an Eisenhower dollar coin. Eisenhower is on the obverse and the eagle landing on the moon is on the reverse. Depending on its condition and where it was minted it's worth anywhere between $2 and $10.

The us mint still makes silver coins: silver proof sets in which the half dollar, quarter, and dime are made in 90% silver and separately also the $1 dollar silver eagle coin which is made of 99.99% silver(1 oz. of silver basically).

Hey guys, I know that some of you are money experts so...I have this coin, not sure if it's from America, but it has a woman in profile looking to the right. on the left it says,"Victoria D.C." and on the right it says, "Britt Reg : F.D." On the back it has a warrior sitting on a rock with his spear and shield, wearing a helmet. Underneath him it says 1882, obviously the year this was made. Any idea what this coin's worth?

From your description,it would appear to be a Victorian-era coin from Great Britain..The "warrior" you mentioned could be that of Brittania,and Victoria D.C definitely are the initials of Queen Victoria..Anything else you overlooked on the coin? (ie.Penny or shillings,etc etc ..) ^^ ..The Coin should be worth a decent bit
