1st, Your Amazing at this.

2nd, N64 Will still be a great console with great games no matter what year where in.

3rd. At 4:02 you make a Silver Block but then you put a yellow under it and it has littler squares in that silver and you lost those 24 lines. How? How does that happen in the game. Its never happened to me?

If you twist a landed block up under something and it forms a line across, then depending on which way you twist it you will either blockify upward or downward.

It's awesome when it happens in multiplayer but dreadful on solo at times.

Thanks! I appreciate the kind words. Check out some of the other videos people have posted, some have broken 10,000. I haven't made a go of it in a long time because it strains my hands to play fort so long.

Some mistakes were made. That happens when playing for over an hour and a half. I've improved some of the techniques since making this video but I don't like to play marathon any more because it takes too long. I aim for high scores in sprint now.

I used a DVD recorder. They are inexpensive and easy to use. The video game system p[lugs into the DVD recorder which plugs into the TV. Then just press record, and it creates a DVD of whatever video game you are playing. The DVD recorder needs to have tri-color (red/white/yellow) input, which most or all do. I then connect it to the TV using another tri-color cable.

The higher the rank the better. 30 is the top rank. 1 is lowest.

what mode are you playing on because of all the blocks just randomly going into single form and disapering off the screan like 9 rows of them and your gold block going into its orignal form?

I am not sure what you are asking, could you please clarify for me? To make the video, I only show a few interesting clips here and there since 6000 lines would take an hour and a half. Is that what you meant?

@frankJShark well you make a silver block at one point and it turns silver and then back into the 4 blocks that made it and you say there went 58 lines and at another point about 6 lines from the very bottom all turned inot little single 1 blocks then disapered and it said damn there goes another 60 points

I understand now. That is a result of the "spin move."  If you complete a row using a spin move, it makes unusual things happen: The row above and below clear, and pieces then fall from above to fill in the gaps, resulting in a lot of clearing all at once.

A consequence of this occurrence is that you lose any blocks you made, which is why I said "There goes 60 points."

Yes I used to play this with my mother on the co-op split screen mode with my mother. We would both usually get 7k - 12k each before one of us would break. This is easily the best tetris game ever.

I always do something stupid with a Blue piece. I don't like those once it gets past an hour. Do you still make the cubes? Which method do you use past the hour and a half mark?

At the 2:20 mark.. do you know the specifics on how that pixelation of the blocks (so to say) works? I've wondered sometimes, if it was possible to do this near the higher portion of the screen, and get something higher than a Tetris (imagines some scenarios, that would be kind of hilarious if that was possible). The way you play though is pretty interesting in general, but just curious.

I think most of what I did can be done at any stage if done properly.  It is just difficult to do when pieces are falling fast.
