@carlosky24 Reptile was made to have Sub-Zero's moves and Scorpion's moves; he didn't have his own moves until _Mortal Kombat II_.

i thought that in MK 1 a can't play reptile, becouse he is a secret player with only could fight. in MK 2 reptail is a player and i could play him. somebody coould me answer im a right??

@opiumized It's not normally like that, the cheat screwed it up. Besides, Reptile was NEVER supposed to be able to fight Shang Tsung.

@xxdarkrainx no, even the real Mortal Kombat had horrible hit detection. That was one of my main issues with the game back in the 90s when it came out. That and all the characters had the exact same normal move set.

Google 'ZSNES movie dumping' and go to the first link, download both MEncoder and LAME and follow the instructions on that page. They show you how to dump the AVI so you can import into Movie Maker.

Enter this code: 7E002208 right before the fight starts. But you can't really do anything with him, it will cause the game to crash. Both Reptile and Shang Tsung are played by CPU in this video.

Actually, Reptile is not a real character in MK1, it's just a patch naming any character "Reptile" and swapping their palettes. In order to play as Reptile, you choose either Sub-Zero or Scorpion and enable this code: 7E02C101 (for player 1) or 7E02C102 (for player 2) or 7E02C103 (both players) and bad news: Only the CPU reptile has the freeze/spear combination, not you the human player! So yeah, the ending will be Sub-Zero's or Scorpion's whichever one you chose.

You must use an emulator or a device that supports PAR codes. Start the game, go to the selection screen and have both controllers pick any character, then as soon as the (VS.) screen shows enter these cheat codes:
