Infidels, according to the Quran, are to be left alone -- unless they are invading your country.
The old Jewish testament, on the other hand, endorses genocide and rape. The new Christian testament is a little better, but not much. See Luke 19:27, for example.
I think all religions are inherently EVIL, btw. Especially yours.

I'm spanish and I really loved this Documentary ^_^ We should re-discover our Andalusian past in order to bring back that tolerance atmosphere that was in those times. It's really sad how muslims are treated as something like pariah here in Spain. Anyway, we should love each other no matter their beliefs, their origin or their race. ^_^

1). Muslims were the invaders.
2). That allowed the Arabs to get all the important political position since dhimmi weren't allowed to vote/be elected.
3). That would have triggered a holy war with all Christians united against the Ottoman Empire which would have been a total no-match.

Religion is an attempt for the ancients to explain the world. Nobody takes their medical observations seriously (eg Jesus and others in the BIble thought sick people were possessed with demons), nor do we believe their exaggerations (eg the story of Solomons gold), and we simply ignore their cruel laws such as slavery which is to be fair purely based on greed and racism etc.
