The United States is the largest in CO2 emissions in the world, in 2007 making about 6,094 metric tons of CO2 according to the United Nations alone, not even to mention the amount of emissions of the rest of the world. Do plants really take in all of this? Also, CO2 isn't the only greenhouse gas. There is also methane (CH4), nitrius oxide (N2O), and fluorinated gases as well. What about them?

Destroyer, but they have measured the temperature of the ocean currents, "gulf stream" and it has not cooled. So why do we have a cold weather? Actually, when the vikings were active the temperature was 4 degrees warmer globally and that did not affect the gulf stream notably. They did however have wheat farms in the north of Norway. So yeah the world can stomach a 4 degree C increase without to much problem.

Last point, CO2 does not cause global warming. Never has, never will. =)

Can I ask where you get your data from? From my personal research on the global warming theory temperatures vary everywhere at all times. There is no indication that temperatures are rising. There really isn't, some people point out the ice caps are melting, well if you look at a global satellite picture the ice caps melt and freeze at the same time. The simple fact is that Climates are ALWAYS changing, that is nature.

I'm not denying anything, If the statistics and data showed that temperatures were rising per year gradually, then we would have cause to be concerned. The sun is the source of energy that causes, on an atomic scale, atoms to vibrate. Which, in turn, causes temperature. I have researched this Global warming theory just as I did in the 1980's on the global cooling theory. Temperature's just vary from day-to-day and place-to-place. There is NO solid proof that global warming occurring.

The largest hole in the Ozone Layer is directly above Antarctica. Oddly enough of the Antarctica ice sheets have been growing constantly since the mid 90's. Try and pin that on pollution from humans. Granted, global warming does exist but even if we were to cease all industry, stop using all cars, etc etc it still wouldn't stop it.
