I"m really into the GOSH eyeshadow sticks as a base or just a colour lately. I don't knoe where/if they're available in the states, but in Canada you can get them at just about every Shoppers Drug Mart. Plus, they come in a lot of amazing colours as well as an actual "base".

I'm cheap and for everyday use I use Maybelline's dream matte mousse eye shadows for the Dollar Tree as eye shadow bases. I also use L'oreal or wet n' wild cream eyeliners as bases, too.

To sharpen retractables. I use a paper towel and lightly twist a point on the crayon, by turning the eyeliner over the paper.

I agree with you. I use the Stila smudge pots as bases, not eyeliner. Love the Barbie colors.

Hey gurl...I'm such a base whore...I can never get enough of buying them. That "Flammable" is so pretty...love it! I've had my eye on the smudge pots but haven't indulged as of yet but I so understand what you're saying! My all time favorite er'day Mac paint pots are "Tea Rose" and "Constructivist" love, love them! Thanks for sharing!

I use stila smudge pots, loreal color truth eyeliner, and wet n' wild creme eyeliner, smashbox eyeliners as bases for my eye shadows. I wish I had your red paint pot ;)

Hey girl! Great video...I love all your vids, Anyway I heard you say that your groundwork is dryng up. All you have to do is use a spatula/something to mix it up and it becomes creamy again. I know this because mine was drying up and i went back to the MAC store to complain and the artist told me to do that and also store them upside down and this works with your fluidlines also.

@mrsbrebeauty You don't need to add any liquid to it hon'. Just use anything a spatula to mix it up and it will get creamy again, and store them upside down. don't add anything at all to it.
