  • Cool guide! A really good basic introduction to Toronto! Thanks for sharing!

  • Casa Loma tour was very interesting!

  • Check out Scarborough for sure. That's the ghetto where the criminals (West Indians) and the unemployable South Asians (not qualified by reason of race) live. Heil Harper!

  • Hello, are really fantastic pictures, really enjoyed, and the sound, I know one day all these places, congratulations. I also did a video, my city Curitiba goes there to check, just put this link in the address bar after youtube /watch?v=3D_rcE1YtWA

  • biatch cant read.

  • There are 360 restaurants in the CN tower? That's what she said?!

  • @prettykitty1984 If you enjoy traffic, pollution, rudeness, shit transit service, extremely high auto insurance and rent, than by all means move to Toronto.

  • Only Morons will travel to Toronto.

Go to Havana Cuba instead, a place worth visiting and will cost you less than Toronto.

-Hate Toronto, and most selfish people that live here.

  • Although I think all your films are very well done, the clip 5 things to do in Toronto is incorrect in one area. Some of the footage of footage about Casa Loma also has shots of Queens Park. Small issue I agree had it not been that I worked on location at both venues otherwise great peace.

    Rick

  • @prettykitty1984 everyone is extremly nice and polite (as all us canadiens are :) ) and there is a ton shops and stores indoors as well as many amazing fun weekend trip areas such as the toronto centre island and high park. as well as the distince cultural area such as chinatown and little italy and greek town :D.

  • what's up with the porn music

  • no Hockey Hall of Fame?!

  • Could anybody please write down the Subtitle of this video. I am so bad at English. I am very appreciate.

  • why are they showing queens park as case loma??? lmao.

  • It's charming to experience how proud Canadians are of their primary city. The biggest JumboTron on the entire continent? Woooooo!

Also, and not to piss maple syrup on anyone's parade, but the CN Tower isn't recognized as a building. It's a tower, and it's the second tallest tower after the KVLY-TV mast in North Dakota.

  • @markd3570 its not a self supporting structure so its height is irrelevant. Its like saying I have the highest house in the world, if I put it on everest. For the time when the CN Tower was made it trully was an amazing accomplishment, as was the first self-retractable roof of the sky dome. To down a city that often comes in the top 10-20 cities in the world is a joke. It's like saying North Dakota is better than NY or California...ya maybe for sheep.

  • What happend to Church Street? lol

  • what happened to dundas square? Eaton centre? And centre island ...

  • club guvernment

  • Also make sure to check out Dundas Square. There's always free events going in with musicians at every corner.

Also the AGO. It's been reconstructed so it's architect is more amazing than ever!

  • And the Eaton center.

  • j'adore cette ville ! vive toronto !

  • french are fags

  • CN tower- yes

    casa loma-no

    chinatown-yes

    skydome-toonie tuesdays

  • I love visiting Toronto, used to live there and I have my favorite places to eat there.

  • I HAD TO use google street view I couldn't remember ANY of the restaurant names (I lived there in 2001)

    Aris Grill (Roncenvalles)

ate here at least 4 times a week when I lived there.. the owners know me (the cook)

steak dinner with fries, gravy and veggies, salad

    Gate 403

pasta? I forget only ate once, for a valentines date.. lovely place.

    Skyline Restaurant (Queen St W)

    wicked spaghetti dinner with mushrooms

  • Great summary of some of Toronto's most well-known tourist destinations. Here are a few of my personal favourites:

    - the Distillery District

    - Toronto's neighbourhoods (Chinatown, Kensington, Cabbagetown, Annex, Little Italy, Bloor West Village, Danforth, Little India, the Beaches etc.)

    - Toronto's ravine & park systems

    - The Toronto Islands

    - St. Lawrence Market & historic Front Street & the Gooderham Building

    - Ireland Park

    - the CPR Roundhouse (Steam Whistle Brewery & the new Leon's)

  • As nice as the view is in the CN Tower be prepared to spend a fortune on admission...they charge you even more to go to the very top and to wait in a long line-up to go through security, wait in another long-line-up to go up the elevator, wait in another long line-up to go up another elevator and then wait in another long line-up to go back down the tower by elevator. I bet you walking up and down the damn CN Tower is faster for most people but unfortunately they don't give you that option.

  • Hockey Hall of Fame?

  • This is horrible. Here are a better top 5:

    1) Kensington Market (near Chinatown).

    2) The Art Gallery of Ontario. Skip the ROM.

    3) Queen's Park (shown mistakenly in this video)

    4) The Don Valley and ravine system

    5) The Beach

  • Ok here's my top 5:

    1. Yonge-Dundas Square (watch the people go by or watch a musical)

    2. Yorkville (where celebrities shop)

    3. The Distillery District (taste the beer)

    4. The Guvernment (best nightclub)

    5. Harbourfront and Toronto Island

  • No wait. I take number one back. #1 is the CBC Broadcast Centre. Go check out a live taping of "The Hour with George Strombolopolous". He's cool.

  • 0:19 "it is the world's tallest building"

    Uhhmm....no it's not.

  • this was made in 07 its not anymore

  • @presnillajones Hey DUMB IDIOT THIS FUCKING VIDEO WAS MADE IN 2007 CAN'T YOU READ? IT WAS THE TALLEST BUILDING UNTIL 2007, AFTER THE BURJ DUBAI WAS FINISHED IT WASNT THE TALLEST ANYMORE.

  • Toronto! The One and True and Greatest Canadian City of All time! Montreal maybe older but Toronto's history is richer and more important long live the centre of the universe!!!

  • montreal's history and people are way better

  • Montreal is always jealous of Toronto, and here's a prime example: YOU

In Toronto, nobody really bashes Montreal but Montrealers always bash Toronto....and only explanation is jealousy. It's so stupid, we're both different cities, get over it. We're CANADIANS, we should be loving each other.

Any by the way, if you're people ARE better, why do they hate? I found that people in Toronto are more accepting in Montreal, I've encountered Franchophones discrimnating me cause I'm Anglophone

  • @ashmantoronto I used to love toronto! but so much anymore... in my opinion the most beatiful cities are ottawa and quebec city... small yes, but the security, the people, cleanliness, parks, rivers, etc

  • J'adore Quebec City. One of my favourite Canadian cities

I love Toronto because I've lived her long enough to appreciate it. Toronto is one of those cities that you have to dissect its beauty to love it. My first 5 years in Toronto, it was just blah! But my last 5 years I've fallen in love because I've gotten to know it more.

  • bc is were its at

  • Ummm... From 0:48 through 0:58 when she's talking about Casa Loma, that building is the Ontario Legislature (Queen's Park)... The building that follows is Casa Loma. Then Queen's Park is shown again from 1:13 through 1:17. Whoops!

  • Yeah, and Queen's Park is a far more interesting building. Casa Loma is a dump. The Kiwanis Club, which is the charity that runs it, along with the city of Toronto, does a HORRIBLE job at keeping it up. Too bad.

And it's the Edwardian era, not Edwardan.

  • montreal's better

  • That's why so many Montrealers are in Toronto? Riiiiiiight.

  • Canadas nothin without toronto

  • ya toronto rocks

  • I'll go in Toronto in July!

Is it possible to see match in the skydome in July?

  • U can see anythangggg in the CN towerrr! ;)

  • Nice, good vibe...

    Great montage

    keep it up.

I wrote a Toronto song... Chek it out and maybe you would consider using it to Promote Toronto. Please, feel free to comment.. and enjoy!

    tnx.

    Chris

  • they show the big moose as Canadian History.....cool the big moose.

  • I would like to travel to Toronto. Canada seems very cool!

  • i live in cananda toronto has phenominal night life you should go

  • is the tallest building stupid

  • was!!!!!

Tallest is the Burj Dubai...as of 2008

  • Comment removed

  • WAS the worlds tallest building

  • and still is

  • AND if it isn't "thugs" and "hip hop" then it is bad 80's flashbacks, who sang about sex, drugs, and money...which is what the h-h singers sing about now, just with more graphic lyrics and they live up to what they sing about. Give me RUSH ANY day against ALL American groups and they still kick ass! You tell me ONE AMERICAN Bassist who is anywhere NEAR as AMAZING as Geddy Lee, and I will find an interview that says they were inspired by Rush...drummers and guitar players too! CANADA RULES!

  • I am American and I agree---America SUCKS...I don't care how people respond to this either. I have been to Toronto and wish I could have stayed and some day I WILL live there. What has American got/given as a culture? We have NO identity anymore, our freakin' "culture" is "drugs n thugs rule" friggin hip-hop bs everywhere...our bands that once meant something, i.e. Eagles/Deep Purple, an entire generation that sang about politics and real life are practically unknown

  • well, it is true that america is losing its culture, but you can't say that there isnt any culture. what about the jazz and soul music of louisiana and southern united states. for example louis armstrong?

  • yes, very true...however, as a nation, we ARE losing our culture. Even the programming on NPR reflects this. There is now only ONE show showcasing southern music and Louisiana jazz, American Routes. There used to be nearly a dozen different ones, which are now gone. Every year where I am from, we lose another terrific non-rap station to a rap & hip-hop playlist, because that is what garners listeners, and social trends show that to be true. Kids don't emulate "respectable" talent anymore,

  • they emulate idiots who scream and swear into a microphone, "rhyming" like they're Dr. Seuss of the ghetto set, and flaunting the way they dress from making obscene amounts of money, just because they overcame poverty...well, most of the "rap scene" talent today "overcame" its poverty and made enough money to get itself heard dealing drugs and who knows what other crime.

  • you can't loose culture, it just changes over time. America has its own culture, which is truly unique from the rest of the world.

I think its sad how, Canada's national identity is known as ... "Not American"

  • so's your face

  • Watch THE TWIN CHANNEL,

    filmed in Toronto Canada!

    See Twins swing in tandem,

    see Twins ride a tandem!!

  • 3???? CHINATOWN??? omg these people are dumb , dont listen to this shit hahaha

  • LMAO so tru. torontos chinatown is sooo bootleg.

  • this tower is getting expensive to go up. I rather go up the Manulife Center at Bay and Bloor. The view is just as great + you get to see CN Tower in the view as well!

  • oh you idiots, the first picture of casa loma was actually the ontario legislature. morons.

  • u mixed up casa loma with ontario parliament

  • yeah thats queens park

  • It's in the Caribbean, and your comment isn't very Canadian-like.

  • Small things, like respect & equality, diverse cultures living in harmony, human rights. The best skiing in N.A. Some of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world. Whale watching, unspoiled wilderness, beautiful wild life preserves and a welcoming and warm people. You really should get out more.

  • u r just jealous. welll the poluttion in chicago makes u think like crap. well u deserve uit..... stay where u are with the worst economy in us.

  • chicago?

    it's the worst ever!

so many crimes there = dirty city

  • u know, i had the excellent opportunity to live in germany, france, U.S and Canada. im now living in toronto.. Have you americans ever though that europe is a billion times better than you.. too bad canada is not in europe i would love to see the u.s alone in this continent because you may not know this but europe has so much pride and they dont give a shit about america ooo ye same with canada. i mean you're proud of your crimes... that is very low ... and then u talk shit about toronto

  • stop talking like u americans r superior

u r nothing better than any other nation

without canada's gas u can't run ur cars to go to ur jobs

  • American's Shit!!!

Canada is Amazing and I was in Toronto. I showed my middle finger to USA direction in Niagara's Fall. That was awesome!!

  • It ain't called the Skydome anymore.... get with the times of corporations taking over, its now called the Rogers Centre...

  • It was the SkyDome when I was five and it opened, and it will ALWAYS be the SkyDome to me!

  • Trust me man I'm from Toronto and I can tell you that this video does not represent the excitement that Toronto has to offer. Toronto's an amazing city for people of all ages especially young people as there is so much to offer, such as a vibrant entertainment district, exciting professional sport teams for all seasons, beautiful architecture, cultural downtown area, great waterfront, and so much more! Don't wait until you're old to come here or you'll be missing out

  • Why the hell would anyone want to go to Buffalo?

  • Buffalo is disguisting ew.

  • Hahaha, if you're looking for fun, I wouldn't stay in Buffalo, your biggest hot spot down there is T.G.I.Friday's. Can't say I've ever been bored or had nothing to do in Toronto.
