  • I like that film!!

    And I love tha song!!!

    Amazing...

  • lmao very odd. But these are both two of y favorite comedians^^ Amazing yet somehow strange to see them together lmao. they seem so completely opposite.

  • hence coffee & cigarettes. So different, but soooo good together

  • grande!

  • very good i dont understand nothing

  • one hyper, the other calm. both the same. are we real.

Thats what i think this vid is trying to say,

  • JUST BRILLIANT....

  • HA,Ha,ha!

    Bella scena!

  • you love me too! hahahaha

  • can u hear me? I liked it better over there.. LOL One is hyper crazy and the other is calm crazy. 2 great talented characters feeding off eachother. Great pickups and rebounds for a great scene. I enjoyed the intense hand rubbing.. just brilliant!

  • Why does everybody in Jim's films "ACT" so much?¿?

  • LOL

  • "Do you know my mother?"

    "very good..I don't understand nothing!":)

  • these two should do a movie together!

  • YOU KNOW MY MOTHER ?:DDDDD

  • very good i don't understand nothing

    hilarious!!!

  • the soundtrack is posted on the offical movie website, theboss027 is correct

  • fantastic movie, by the way!!!!!I love it!!!!

  • Really like this video alot - thanks

Posted video response "One Soldier" with Steven Wright

    Hope you like it.

  • c'è una cosa che Benigni non sappia fare?????credo proprio di no!!!genioo!!sei l'orgoglio Italiano!!

  • this makes me smile..lol

  • my faverite movie...still dont know why....

  • what is name of that song at intro?

  • you mean louie louie by the kinks?

  • The Kingsmen made it famous. That doesn't sound like the Kinks anyway. Dude, have you even heard the Kinks? Then again, I might be surprised.

  • This version is by Richard Berry and the Pharoahs (spelling?)

  • dude, chill out. the kinks had a version of louie louie and it was a minor hit. have you ever heard the kinks?

  • hes from La vita è bella! its such an amazing movie. goodness, two great people here.

  • I agree that Benigni is wonderful in "Night on earth" and I agree as well that's the best sketch in a whole movie.

  • hílário!

  • Benigni..Can't explain how great I think he is. I love him. x He's so cute here, good film btw.

  • this is the best sketch of the whole movie... you have to see night on the heart, benigni is wonderful in that jarmush's movie!! but i think u will use subtitles for understand bcause he speaks italian...i'm italian and i'm proud to have a star like benigni in my country!!!P.S. see benigni at letterman's, so you will understand that he jokes with you americans that cannot understand his comedy talent: Fellini told that benigni is a genius!!!

  • Both Roberto Benigni and Steven Wright are excellent.

A well directed and unusual bit of comedy.

    5 stars ***** THANKS

  • Yes! I don't understand nothing!

  • This is my favourite bit from the movie. It's just great: the actors, that kind of surrealistic humour, the sound (not so much on You Tube version though)..., very simple and yet very visual, very cinematographic.

  • its from a film called coffee and cigarettes. Search for it on wikipedia, you'll find all the info.

  • lol grande roberto...in italiano però non rende.

  • i have this film but i must admit i had to force my self to like it and see it all to the end. Steven Wright is very funny, but this film just tries to hard to be funny. Sadly it isnt. :(

  • Did you and "buyacircle" down below, like "Clerks"? I think they are similar in comedic style. If you don't like Clerks, God help you!

  • I dunno, I didn't really feel like it was trying to be funny. Maybe certain parts of it were, but I felt like a lot of it was just trying to tell a story, mostly about human nature, but not trying to really make you laugh. that's just my opinion though... i did love the movie personally

  • I really didn't even take it as a comedy. I just thought it was a very interesting piece, and enjoyed watching the casual interaction between celebrities.

  • Regardless of being labled a comedy, farce, semi realistic social-whatever... thy try to be funny but are not!

  • I've had this movie in my house and never watched it before, I can see why i haven't, it has no funny included.

  • anyone know the song in the beginning? that louis louis thing?

  • Only one of the greatest songs, ever! "Louie, Louie" by the Kingsmen. Sadly, it's not that version, though. In the movie, it's sung by some other band. It doesn't hold a candle to the original version. How old are you?

  • it's both. i believe this part was shot in 1986, then for the 2003 film, it was remastered.

  • i think this is only a short 6 minute movie for all u guys asking if its a feature film lol

  • Nope, its a film.

Check it out on the Internet Movie Database

I thought the casting credit was fake, but it seems real.

  • This looks like pretty much the greatest movie ever made. I'm going to go rent it ASAP.

  • I think somebody put it up here. Only people who speak Russian can understand it though.

  • Brilliant casting idea.

  • These guys need to do a movie together. Perfect opposites.

  • Great movie.Gotta get it on DVD.

  • do you know my mother?

    classic.

  • the intro credits are 1/4 of the whole video. speed them up or cut them out.

  • roberto is fluent in italian and french.he should just stick to that

  • Wow that's ignorant. Why can't he go on to learn other languages? Knowing more than one is a fantastic tool to connect with everyone.

  • he won't be Roberto anymore :)

  • Did it ever occur to you that the language problem is part of the scene?

  • That's the point.

A situation can be funny without jokes.

  • do you have the whole movie or know if its on here??

  • wow, thats pretty stupid

  • I don't get it.

  • i love to swicht!!!

  • rofl Roberto Benigni is classic. i love watchin him

  • This is the most bizarre part of C&C. The ending is great. :)

  • freeze the coffe, an icescicle for kids...yes yes very good i dont understand nothing...HAAHAHA

  • Fantastic !!!

  • i just saw "coffee and cigarettes" and i like it a lot.

The first scene is a bit strange though...
