  • Do you know where i can get bass fishing lures? Im a beginner who needs lures.

  • that Rapala jerk bait is called a husky jerk bait i have two of them. and that lipless crank looks sort of like the clackin rap but the older version, i have one in the short trusse and bluegill colour.

  • that stuff is poooop

  • cool video

  • i like your videos man because of u i just started my own fishing channel

  • Hey huntingjunkie1234 maybe you could help someone in their fishing habbits or obbsessions but i think what this young man has to say is pretty good compared to the information i see you putting out there! Rattle Traps won the bassmaster classic! one of the biggest fish of the tournament was caught on a spinnerbait! jerk baits played a big roll 4 anyone fishing rocks, points, or wingwalls! And oh the jig! Name 1 out of 51 pros that didn't have a jig tied on... yea all that was in feb! Whos dumb?

  • apparently you have never thrown a suspending jerk bait over a bed. A bass is just that a bass! It eats anything that looks good, annoys them, or suprises them! what eats bass eggs and fry? Ok now tell me why a jerk bait that looks like a bluegill or anything else that eats them wouldn't work! If you dont know what your talking about then i suggest you keep your mouth shut about some kid woman or man trying to better themselves or someone else and doing their part to help the sport of fishing!

  • First off this young man can't be more than 16. How is it that a young man like this makes "huntingjunkie1234" look so dumb! Any bait can be fished as a finesse bait if you know how to fish especially a jig! And if you live anywhere remotely close to this guy then you know jan and feb are not when fish spawn lol! Large mouth nor small mouth will spawn in 30 and 40 degree water! And different people also fish for bed fish differently. You make fun of his jerk bait for bedded fish.

  • this kid is an idiot a jig is not a finnesse bait and in january the fish are gonna be on the beds so ur gonna wanna be lookin for them on the beds not throwin jerkbaits and spinnerbaits

  • umm js in the state of the south carolina you will not find a bass on the beds, maybe during the spring but not during january. Thats way to early for them.

  • i agree cause i live here...

  • how this kid dumb? A jig can be finnesse for one thing. And secondly bass wont be on beds during january.

  • @VAxHUNTER94 are u kidding me,ur seriuosly that stupid. bass start moving up in december and probably wont be done spawning until july.

  • @Huntingjunkie1234 Alright then show me some information on that one bud. Cause where i come from these fish dont move up till about mid march (at the absolute earliest!!). Everyone on here realizes you dont know nothin bout fishin so just keep your comments to your self. Seriously man your making your self look dumb.

  • @VAxHUNTER94 dude i fish all year round, and i have seen fish on beds all year long. There are not alot up at one time but fish go up all year long in the south. Your a fisherman that looks for beds that are in less than 2 feet of water, well fish will bed all year round in water deeper than 7 feet.

  • @Huntingjunkie1234 Thats bull snot! maybe deep in the south like southern florida but everywhere else NO WAY!

  • @Huntingjunkie1234 dude your fuckin stupid. you dont know shit. lets see you post a vid so we can critisize it bitch. bass dont move into their beds untilmiddle of march you stupid cunt jesus crist get a life. im sure your some fat ass who sits on the computer all day bitch

  • @mattthbassfisher ur an idiot kid,if u knew anything about fishing u would know that it depends on water color and conditions for a bass to bed. In clear water no matter where in the country the fish will be on the beds in january unless the water is below 55. In murky to stained water they bed anyhwere from january to july. Before u try to put someone down u need to know what ur talking about!! haha ur an epic failure.

  • @Huntingjunkie1234 hahahaha wat a douche. haha u said epic failure! hahaha wat a fag. and exactly. it depends on the conditions. thats wat i was trying to say but i guess i didnt get to my point. and i dont see you posting up any vids now hmmmmm????

  • @mattthbassfisher wtf ur comeback is calling me a douche for saying epic failure,u must be like 10 years old to come up with a comeback that good. And what u said about not getting to ur point is bullshit. Ur just saying that bcuz u dont know what ur talkig about so ur going off what i said.

  • @Huntingjunkie1234 dude i said epic failure when i was like 6. and how old r u bitch?you really have no life do you? coming on to peoples vids just to talk shit? thats really patetic dude. grow up. and i dont see u=you posting any vids now do i? didnt think so fucker

  • @Huntingjunkie1234

ur right about the jig being a power lure..but im from the south and they dont get on beds till late march early april down here in bama...if your looking to catch inactive bass you can go two ways....hungry or reaction bite.....best lures i throw that have made me alot of money during the winter/early spring are: Suspending Jerk bait(clear water), RAT-L-Trap, spoons, Football jigs in near creek channel/river channel junctions, dropshot, shaky head, single colorado SB's.....

  • @robbylawson Here in Florida they come up once the winter time breaks, which is usually early in the year. Also what you said is wrong, the only way to get an inactive bass to eat is a reaction strike, cuz if he is hungry he is obviously going to be active and trying to eat. Everything else you said is typical pre spawn techniques.

  • @Huntingjunkie1234 u took what i said out of context with the hungry/reaction bite...and i believe u about bass bedding right after winter....did not realize u were from florida ..so in this case we can make an exception about bedding bass that early in the season..ROLL TIDE

  • @robbylawson Yup,seems like that tide rolled this year and washed your team right out.

  • @Huntingjunkie1234 yea u may be right ,but the tide sure didnt affect our national championship last year ..plus auburn winning this year...says something about the state....

  • @robbylawson Haha every state and team has their year. Also im not talking about last year,im talking about this year.

  • @Huntingjunkie1234 Thanks boss

  • it depends on where he is dont call him an idiot for what works at his location

  • its all about jigs dropshots and texas rigs but the key is slow slow slow

  • were did you get that rapala in bluegill color?

  • they sell them in a lot of places i got mine at dicks sporting goods

  • Dropshot Dropshot Dropop shot cast it or drop it from a boat in february

  • Think the second one is an X-Rap. The second one is definitely a Rattlin' Rapala, they are about the cheapest Rapala lure you can buy. First time I used a RR I caught a 3 pound largemouth after two casts and another 3 pounder the cast right after releasing the first one. Hooked on the Rattlin' Rapalas. You can get "off-brand" lures that look near identical for half the price. I personally think that RRs work best for year round bass fishing.

  • 5*!!.. I went fishin today!!!...

  • Excellent stuff, thanks.

  • cool ok great thanx so much im goin fishing tomorrow and i was gunna use one of my home made soft baits .

i have a spinner bait in my tackle box and it haunts me that it never works cause ive been usen it during the wrong seasons.

but now im gunna use it and ill let u kno if i catch any.THANX

  • alright be sure to use that spinner bait, I caught a bass on one today actually, with my little brother. We got pictures that i will post later on my site.

  • hey do rooster tails work good

  • Yeah, Mepps inline spinners are good to. I'd say buy the cheapest inline spinners you can find. They pretty much work all the same.

  • but are they good for bass?

  • Yeah the water temp in Ohio isn't even 50 degrees yet and a few of my friend have caught bass with them. You can get Rooster Tail or Mepps. There are other off brands that are just as good. Depending on water temp adjust your speed of your retrieve.

  • o i live on houston and the water is up pretty high now and my worms are doing great and ima start using scum frogs

  • By worms you mean rubber worms right? Yeah f you live in Texas an inline spinner would be great for you right now. In Ohio it is still a bit cold and you have to retrieve slow. But I'd try spinnerbaits like the first one bassrigs shows and inline spinners. Doesn' texas have some good top water small mouth fishing? I've heard things about it, never been there or anything.

  • yeah rubber worms . top water works pretty good but i dont like small mouths there kinda picky

  • I think largemouth respond to top waer pretty good to. I like top water because unless you throw them in a tree you don't lose them to snags since they skim the water. If you get snagged with top waer you should have seen it. Plus the strike is fun to watch. :D Good luck with your Rooster Tails. PS my friend buys home made inline spinners. They have a trebble hook, a blade, and beads for the body. He catches bass all the time wih them. Might be good to look into if you are cheap like me. :P

  • dont give advice on what you dont know about, inline spinners are very different brand to brand. for instince compare panther martin with mepps or south bend. panther martin, and rooster tail vibrax, and regular rooster tails are really good. other brands make little to no vibration and dont work as good.

  • I've fished with $1 dollar inline spinners and with $5+ inline spinners and I've caught plenty on both. I've started makeing my own inline spinners and I've caught more bass on them then with the store bought ones. Hmm, guess you are right, they are different. My homemade ones are cheaper and more effective. Good call!

  • Nice Vid Bub

  • Great video those bluegill color lipless cranks are pretty good I caught a 3 lber on a cold day off of one which is pretty good.

  • i hit the jerkbaits come spring.

but during the spawn, its good to throw soft plastics and crankbaits around nests and structure. good vid tho 5*

  • Nice tips that looks like a Rapala F-11 jerk bait and they are great winter lures fo sho!

    5*

  • thanks
