"Pat Buchanan I'm related to Nathan Bedford Forest"
BUCHANAN ADMITTED THAT HE HAD RELATIVES THAT FOUGHT UNDER FORREST AFTER MATTHEWS BROUGHT IT UP - BUCHANAN DID NOT SAY HE WAS RELATED TO FORREST. C'MON!
Was Chris Matthews slamming anyone with a Southern heritage? What a little peckerpussy! First off Nathan Bedford Forrest was such a great Military mind, that the German war colleges of the WWII era studied his military tactics. Second off, at least the republicans have never brought up "light skinned, dark skinned "Negros". Harry Reid's words, not mine!
@starVol That's interesting about German military studying Forrest. I didn't know that but it makes sense as Forrest was famous for using horses to charge straight into and beyond the enemy line catching them off guard and the Germans (using tanks) did the exact same thing in WWII, practically defeating France before they knew what was going on by running over their defensive trenches...

I think that this is literally the first time that I have seen Pat Buchanan not being curmudgeonly.
