Usher's popularity sky rocketed with this performance. Everyone talked about it. The others...well they paid tribute by singing the best they could. I thought Mariah Carey was pretty tasteless, the way she sang and the way she waved her arms like a psycho. She didn't think of it as a memorial, she was thinking it was her concert. At least that's what it looked like to me.

I didn't believe the second case for a second, but for a very very very long time I believed that he was definitely guilty the first time. After Michael died, I read more about it and I agree with everything you said. He was a prisoner of his fame, a kind and gentle soul, and an easy target to people with no heart.
