thats what they did for the rec lockpicks, i don't know about u cause u would have a mygig lockpick, i found in the end it was better just to change the radio, i got a pioneer avic-z110bt does everything the stock radio does and more, and stuff u wouldn't think of. the newer one is the avic-z130bt which is amazing

Are there extra wires needed for the ipod to function after the lockpick installation is completed, or does it come with enough wiring in the package to immediately have the ipod capability functional during installation? it just lets u plug a rca ipod cable in or any rcas like for a ps3, xbox, or anything else u can think of. u have a mygig radio where i had the rec nav, so i dont know if u will have the problem i did where the dealer updated my cars computer and after that this device was blocked and caused my car to throw error codes, so i ended up putting a better radio in
it actually is srt8 lol! i love this car man... well im 15 years old and i cant wait to drive it... even though i drove it about 9 miles.. but only near my house not in highway lol
after the screws, all i had to do was get something under it carefully, and pull, i got one part and then i carefully plulled around it till i got the whole thing
it depends, i heard they changed the wire harness for 2006 and up in the ram, and 05 and up in most other dodges. but if whatever u have has the rec nav radio already, then they mygig radio should plug right into the same wire harness
i had nav and stuff already, its good. this added for me is was the abillity to add a av/ ipodhookup so i can watch videos and it made it so i can enter a address in the nav while driving,not having to put the car in park like normal . but u can add a mic and use the blutooth if u dont have it. or add a reverse camra. overall i like it. i think its better then puting a different radio in its place that is going to need a custom think to make it fit and cover the hole from where the old radio.
hey man would you please do me a favor and make a step by step video how to take off the dash i really need to instal a new radio and i cant figure out how to take that damn time off plz reply yes no maybe but i really need to figure out how to take the dash off to install a new radio
my truck is an 08 and the 06-08 has the same interior. some people report having to screws in the compartment with the cupholders attached to the cover around the radio and stuff. mine didnt have any so i just stuck a screwdriver in carefully not to damage anything and worked my way around pulling it off
Great video Man!!! first real detail video for LockPick install. I have a 2006 Chrysler 300 limited with REC Nav radio. I thought i was going to be cutting wires and stuff but it's just really plug and play with the adapters. Thanks again for the video bro!
