The Divine Office is not the propriatary property of any single denomination. Indeed it grew up in monastic life, but has been used other places as well, and has been discovered in recent decades among Lutherans and protestants. After all, good prayer is good prayer no matter the brand name. Here in Pittsburgh, the Pittsvurgh Compline Choir has been an ecumenical choir for over 20 years including people from both Eastern and Western rites. Check out its videos on YouTube.
It was more like a recreation of what goes on in the Roman Catholic church. It was the very same style and everything was very much the same. These people that sung it had a joy of singing and had some folks that once was Catholic that really started it in this Presbyterian church.

How do they sing the Divine Office at a Presbyterian Church? I thought this was a Roman Catholic use. It's a doubt, I really don't know.
