aoc in its idea, a vision, crushes wow in a second. and if u freez wow in development(no expansin,ect...)aoc could make it so in....hm,2 or 3 years if u calculate all the bullshit promises(pvp patch, contest, tehnical issues...) they have been feeding players with. This could have been a realy good game....shame.for me, gameplay in aoc is FAR better then wow...BUT i, like 70% players, have major tehnical issues and with patches coming out it gets worse
I tend to disagree. So much of AoC's content is missing, itemization is bad, pvp is lacking, etc..it's ridiculous. The game remains to be fun, but it hasn't even come close to topping WoW, unfortunately.

WoW's gameplay was solid right from the start. They had server problems, but the game itself was in a very polished state. AoC, however, is not even remotely close to being in a released state.
@Incursus41 Start looting, get caught in "loot stance" until you log out. Fall through zeppelins, mobs under ground shooting / casting spells. Solid? Where were you at WoW start? I was there.
@tulapi123 The presence of....anything? There were no quests, zones were empty, the game was completely unfinished. AoC lost over 90% of their subscriptions in 1 months. They dropped from 700k to 70k users in 30 days.

And whats that to night i cant play multiplay?!?!? :P btw how does this work, u really have to pay extra to play multiplay? and u have the same character on single as on multiple?
It's massively multiplayer, meaning $15 per month to play. It's only multiplayer, not single player at all. There are some single player instances up to level 20, but you're still technically online...you're just in a zone by yourself.
See, now that's what it's all about... Age of Conan puts the Massive in Massively Multiplayer :D but aside from that, amazing in-game music and visuals... and keeps you build simcity style... totally customized, and destroyed in pieces, literally... it falls apart! not like in Dark Age of Camelot :D *catapult hit wall for x dmg* ... yay... not.

Sorry by wow fans, but i stop playing wow to play this game and true, have many bugs and errors atm, but is funnier than wow.

the single player parts are only under level 20, and thats just to introduce you to the story and to help you learn to play
but after level 20, there is no single player and there are day and night transitions with no single play involved
