Great video of your malamute. We use to do the same thing when it was go outside , dinner, wana a cookie. We just put our " Tala " down today. She would have been 11 July 9, 011. She had a cancerous tumor on her snout. It got pretty bad for her, and us. Your video put me in a happy memory

My Alaskan Malamute looked just like yours. She was a wooly one too. She Died this past March at the age of 11. We came home from shopping and she had died on our patio. The vet said it was colon cancer. How did you Mal die?

Really beautiful malamute! Our malamute/husky hybrid is on youtube too and she looks quite a bit like Chaska. Ours doesn't do 360's though... unless it's about chasing her own tail. ;>

is there anyway possible to train it as a guard dog

does it howl at night and keep you awake

does it get fur all over the place, if so is there anyway of preventing the fur from getting everywhere, such as combing him often

are they affectionate, will he sit on the couch with you and watch tv or even sleep at the foot of your bed

how hard was he to train

I have a Malamute.

They don't get fur all over the place much, but you do have to brush them every week or so during late spring/summer, because this is when they are malting. They do keep themselves very clean though.

Mine doesn't howl at night, except very occasionally if there is a fox about. Usually he only howls when my other dog barks.

They are very affectionate dogs! They love hugs.

They are not so easy to train, however. They are not so smart. But if you work hard i'm sure you can!
