  • idk how subjective this question is, but out of all the songs you know which artist do you think is the most difficult to cover?

  • Frankly I find Pierre Bensusan's stuff very difficult which is why I haven't posted one of his tunes yet. Great question.

  • Awesome job Warren. Did you learn this by ear or were you able to locate tabs for this one?

  • Thanks. Yes, this was another tune I picked off by ear.

  • Do you know Del Vezeau? You sound like Don and the crowd at the Canadian Guitar Festival north of Kingston. Great fingerstyle playing man.

    Otis

  • Your an awesome guitar player *****

    Rocket

  • Warren, sorry for not getting here sooner. I try to catch these before they hit the ground. Quit your job, and start giving us workshops! CHA-CHING!

  • you can tell this is a don song right away

awesome job man.....your guitar souds great

my fav don song right now is First Ride

  • Have you been practicing a lot more since the positive responses to your playing? Your chops have really improved heaps from your earlier vids. Is all this exposure getting you more gig time? Well done (of course)!

  • Actually I haven't been playing more, nor getting any gigs for that matter. I think I'm just less stressed in front of the camera - and have a proper chair to sit on.

  • Amazing, GREAT !!!

  • Thank you sir.

  • Fantastic!

  • Thanks SPLASH1946!

  • Did you learn this song by your ears, or is there a tab somewhere?

  • Yes, I learned it by my ears.

  • Any possibilites you will write it down on the tab for us one day? =)

I really want to learn this song!

  • Well, you have this video which should help with the fingerings, and the tuning is CGDGBC. There's Frank Larouche on Don Ross' gobyfish yahoo group who does these tabs professionally (and pays Don) , you might want to ask him.

  • Great control of the steel string...I enjoy watching you play....!!

  • Once again, I really appreciate your comment Scott.

  • One of my favorites of Donn Ross

you make it look too easy brother awesome job

  • Thanks. I'll try to come up with something different.

  • walnut and cedar never sounded so good Warren...stunning! Didn't Sergei tell you that your first guitar would be your favourite? Can you make me one just like it?

  • Well, he definitely said I would like it more than my factory guitars... and I do play it more than my other builds. So, I guess you are both right.

  • wow...awesome!

  • Cheers!

  • Woaw, the entire deal here: wonderfully played, great tne, fantastic sound..5*****

  • It really is the kitchen sink, isn't it? I think Don was still trying to work out his "style". But I really love his earlier work from the 80's.

  • SWEET!!!!!!!!!

  • THANKS!

  • Excellent as always!

  • Too kind. I still need to learn to relax when I'm playing, particularly towards the end of a piece.

  • hi, this is just awesome, beautiful to my ears : ) thanks for posting, keep it up, share ; )

  • You're more than welcome.

  • This one is very nice mr saffronboots. I still love your playing. Keep up the excellent recordings please!
