That cue at 2:38 is for me, and it was the only time I got that part of the song correct. One of my best performances ever. The conductor is conducting with his left hand because he's left-handed.
Why is the conductor conducting with his left hand? This has to be confusing for the band. There are so many opportunities to train the group to respond to the baton, however, if the beat is the same they will not become as good as they could be. When they hit D they did not follow the marking. Overall it was good though, not an easy piece.
i dont mean be....rude in anyway but i the trumpets or cornets [we dont have cornets so we have to play on trumpet...same thing] well they missed alot of dynamics....wonderfuly played thouugh...kudos
Aha... The conductor is awsome... Didn't seem too into in the begining, but oh the end and his wee little dance.
Anyways, It slowed down much when the trumpets cut off and the lower woodwinds came in. No doubt it was beautiful... Just slowed down. (And that's my favorite part.) Awsome job though. =] Wish I could've heard the fist two movements by this band.
There are a few videos of the other movements, but the camera wasn't working right so there are only clips. I'll see if I can get them uploaded though. :)
Flutes ruined it

Work on your intonation, balance, blend, and tempo control. The emotion is there, but the technical facility isn't.
